I have to go out in a few minutes and it is bugging me beyond reason. I am irrationally worried I will have to interact with a Candice and I'm not sure if I should pronounce it 'Candiss' (like her on the bakeoff) or 'CANdeese' this afternoon.

squoosh If you can't see the difference between slagging a TV 'personality' off mainly for appearing smug and slagging some member of the public off purely for their looks then I think you may be slightly hard of understanding.

A few people have said that Candace is smug - that's a legitimate opinion. Comments about her make up are just bitchy.

On last night's show she referred to her Granny and said her Granny would say " Go on Candeece" so that's how she pronounces it.
