Really BBC ? Such a dramatic way of reporting on the BBC News page over a TV programme but then the story is Pro BBC sooooo....

Oh fuck ,the chuckle bros make me want to vomit. I'll watch the new BBC version with SMM YAAY!!!!!!

I heard that they may release it BEFORE channel 4's offering. 2 fingers to C4!

If the Chuckle Brothers host it, that will be the final nail in the coffin.

The annoying thing is though that the production company have got their dosh. Even if it flops on C4, they've walked away with their 65 squillion or whatever it was and are probably none too fussed about what happens to the show.

But it will make it more difficult for them to sell the next show, and the one after that. The BBC may well hesitate to invest money and time in building up a new show only for it to be taken away from them to go to a higher bidder, and other channels will be aware that when you buy what looks like a good product from Love Productions it won't necessarily be able to deliver the features that make it good.

It strikes me that they may struggle to find good contestants in future. We know that a number of contestants have presented a fairly jaded picture of what goes on, and people may take the viewthat they don't want to be associated with something that looks pretty likely to be a flop.

Also, according to the Sunday Times today, the BBC have the International licencing rights until 2028, which makes it sound even more like Channel 4 have been sold a pup. Unless a miracle happens, heads surely have to roll?
