Love reading these, keep them coming.
Kawolski - re: your room closing in feeling when younger (Pg 3), I used to get something similar but a floating / out of body thing. Stopped as I got older, but happened most around puberty. Just looked it up and seems it's a brain disorder www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1544705/Flying-in-your-sleep-may-be-a-paralysis.html
My only woo encounter was as a child. My late strait-laced grandparents used to own a toyshop that they lived above in a 2 floor flat. It had a back room storeroom we used to enter the building via when we visited on sundays - despite all the toys in there, my DSis and I used to leg it through the storeroom as fast as we could as we hated the sensation in there. We also hated sleeping in the attic bedroom on overnight stops.
Got talking to mum about all the shops they had over the years when I was in my 20s and how we hated the toy shop. Mum fessed up that grandad would frequently watch toys float about whilst he sorted stock in the shop. My nan gave their ghost a name & used to talk to her as she pottered about upstairs. They kept this from us as kids as didn't want to spook us, so it definitely gives credence to intuition and feelings you get for a place.
