And no, don't say it's delicious with cheese sauce. It's the cheese sauce you're enjoying. It's time we stopped letting this evil brassica take the credit for that dish.

I love cauliflower. And beetroot, celery, mushrooms, tomatoes and everything else mentioned above. But am not very keen on baked beans Smile

Thurlow · 12/09/2016 11:57

Oooh, no, cauliflower is delicious.

Celery is evil, definitely.

But not as evil as mushrooms

nightandthelight · 12/09/2016 11:57

YABU. Mushrooms are the Devil's work!

MoMandaS · 12/09/2016 12:03

Rebecca cook runner beans for a long time in a tomato sauce with plenty of oil - lovely! Diana Henry has a good recipe for Lebanese runner beans if you want to Google it.

Roasted cauliflower is delicious. Otherwise it's rubbish.

BorpBorpBorp · 12/09/2016 12:04

I like cauliflower, and beetroot, and broccoli, and broad beans (young and fresh from the garden)... and coriander, mushrooms, tomatoes, celery (boiled), sprouts, mint, aubergine, runner beans (cut the strings off!), and leeks, and baked beans.

Not keen on okra.

EveOnline2016 · 12/09/2016 12:13

I love cauliflower but dh is allergic so can't have it in the house.

justilou · 12/09/2016 13:04

You are totally correct... So are sprouts. Both of them smell like feet. *shudders

squoosh · 12/09/2016 13:07

Sprouts are bloody marvellous. Fried with some pancetta and a dash of maple syrup.

Droolsome.

Creativemode · 12/09/2016 13:09

I hate cauliflower and broccoli.

Love beetroot, celery, tomatoes and mushrooms.

CheshireChat · 12/09/2016 13:12

Peppers have to claim that title surely! They smell rotten even when fresh.

Don't like celery, but I do like celeriac with apple and carrots and some yogurt dressing.

Arseicle · 12/09/2016 13:14

I love cauliflower. Its a staple of Indian food, try some spice on it!

I like every vegetable except sprouts. Evil little bastards.

peppercold · 12/09/2016 17:08

Sprouts are my absolute favourite! With butter pepper and salt. I love green beans fried in oil and garlic. Mushrooms are brilliant, on pizza, in cream and garlic, on a full English love em!

Knackerelli · 12/09/2016 17:29

Cauliflower is my absolute favourite vegetable, love it! Also like mushrooms, celery and sprouts.

Leeks, parsnips and butter beans however Envy

pinkieandperkie · 12/09/2016 17:31

I love cauliflower. Asparagus and courgettes are the devils food.

peppercold · 12/09/2016 17:31

Oooh love parsnips too

squoosh · 12/09/2016 17:32

How can anyone dislike asparagus! I love asparagus season so much.

90daychallenger · 12/09/2016 17:32

Mushrooms taste like sperm.

squoosh · 12/09/2016 17:32

And courgettes are great too, especially since they're far less soggy these days.

abbinobb · 12/09/2016 17:33

I remember trying to feed baby ds pureed cauliflower (WHY WAS I SO CRUEL?) At about 6 months his little face was so horrified and I felt like I'd just forced him to eat farts.

Longdistance · 12/09/2016 17:34

Oh brilliant more cauliflower for me. I don't get this cauliflower rice fad at the minute.

I love cauli on its own, curried and I've just made a cauli, broccoli and Stilton soup.

Celery is just...💩

tibbawyrots · 12/09/2016 17:34

I love everything mentioned.

My only hate is for dark green cabbage and kale. Too many memories of being told to sit there until I had eaten it and heaving with every mouthful. Vile, nasty stuff. 😡

inaclearingstandsaboxer · 12/09/2016 17:37

Oh god I love cauliflower!

^ sits alone with her stinking farts....

scarednoob · 12/09/2016 17:40

I nearly started this exact same thread about kale earlier. dry choky nasty curly pieces of shit ruining my meal. and it's in everything these days. who the hell likes eating it, it's like dark green paper.

fuck kale.

and tomatoes. fine mashed up in things or in a puree, soup etc, but the actual raw beasts? nothing should be slimy and chewy and crunchy all at the same time. and they fuck up everything in their path, they make bread or pizza or salad all tomatoey and covered in their rank slime.

fuck tomatoes too, the miserable red cunts.

arrrrgh.
