A drop of Nelsons blood wouldnt do us any harm
This is thread 15 so no need for alarm
Those lifeboats and guards save us from the sea
We should all thank them as we drink our cup of tea
While they're out there volunteering looking out for you and me

AGL. I remember my induction day for my counselling course. I got chatting to a very attractive man (bit dreadlocked and pierced for my usual tastes, but lovely eyes). He was telling me how he loves helping people (his heavily pregnant wife was waiting in the common room so I wasn't making any Jess moves)

He lived on a caravan site and apparently there was a young woman living there who was having difficulties with her ex. He never turned up for the course, so we assumed wife had given birth and it was all too much. Six months later, he and partner started working for my sister. Partner was the young lady from the caravan site Shock. I don't know what became of the poor wife. Maybe not cut out for counselling....

There was also a guy in my class - I'll call him D. You know how some men are handsome, and some are just truly beautiful? He was the latter. He decided not to pursue a counselling career at the end of the course. I actually though 'thank fuck for that' because of the whole 'transference' thing. No vulnerable female should be sharing her thoughts with..... that,

Gorgeous man.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 10/09/2016 18:56

Grin You'll have to come and vet my class

PortiaCastis · 10/09/2016 19:00

My ex was gorgeous looking, hung like a horse but a complete bastard

AGL. What are you studying?

Counselling is very touchy-feely. Which has advantages.

Bettercallsaul1 · 10/09/2016 19:00

Bollockchops trips off the tongue charmingly, Portia!

PortiaCastis · 10/09/2016 19:03

Better I cannot stand Channel 5 and their benefit bashing shit and making programmes about people's unhappiness. So they deserve all answers they get in my book.

portia. This was one of the rare occasions where an extremely hot dude had a lovely personality. We're friends on FB...

Unfortunately, he lives in the same city as my ex. And due to their shared enjoyment of certain herbal medicines, I don't think it would work.

Soooo pretty though.

Guys like that tend to induce complete paralysis of thought and speech in most women, Jess (apart from Portia, of course!) Not a good quality in a counsellor!

PortiaCastis · 10/09/2016 19:09

Aidey baby is nice, when he speaks in his irish accent it's hard to believe he does poldark. He could charm the bloomers of Gran with his Dublin tongue

Blue M and S and Waitrose put cream first. I rest my case.

Well that explains why m&s experienced money troubles in recent years. Grin
