I hate this month so much.. nothing to look forward to apart from cold, long nights, endless work and at least 8 months till sunshine.. oh woe is me, woe is ME!

I love the summer so much and always mourn its passing. However, I do enjoy the period September-Christmas as I think it's very pretty and although it's dark and cold, there are things to look forward to.

Now January-April can fuck right off. HATE IT. Dull, cold, windy, wet, boggy. I wish I could emigrate and come back in May.

I love September

FurryLittleTwerp · 08/09/2016 07:37

I love Autumn - cool, misty mornings & bright clear days (if we're lucky) & the light is just so gorgeous.

Some say September is the Monday of months Grin Grin I don't know if I agree with this, although I do think that it all depends on what you make of it. Cold weather? Mmm, nice tea an 2 seasons of your fav TV show in one Saturday :)

Love September. Nice weather, often warm. Then we have the trees turning yellow and red to look forward to.

It's the start of the best of the seasons, I love September

I do hear what many of you are saying about Jan and Feb being the worst but the thing about September is it's like a lovely walk in the countryside but you're heading towards a cliff and you can't see it...or at least some of us can see it but can't avoid it or something like that Sad each month from here on in just gets worse and worse and worse although yeah I quite like Christmas

I am dreading the winter. Every winter in UK. Luckily we still have hot & muggy today. But I know it won't be for long. Weanhhhh....!!!

I don't really like September too much.
The weather never knows what it's doing so I seems to always be inappropriately dressed.
I'm always having a mild panic attack over the lack of work over summer.
I find myself furiously preparing for the new academic year and never quite doing this properly so I then end up feeling like I'm treading water all year.
There are loads of preparatory pre-term meetings that happen in September, most of which prove to be a complete waste of time.
Everyone else seems to be lovely and brown from exotic summer holidays but I'm the colour of milk.
I just find September a bit of a hinter-land between the crisp beauty of Autumn when I start counting down to Christmas and the brilliant sun and heat of September. It's just a bit 'meh'

*of August obviously Confused

I like any month that it doesn't include snow or ice. I think I am ok May - October at least. Snowfall should only happen between Christmas eve and Boxing day. Love mild winters.
