A' AGL - happy?

More nonsense and utter bollocks, plus heart-warming moments of honesty, acceptance and kindness.

For cakes, dogs, cats, life-savers, unplanned pregnancies, homes, dresses and shoes, and of course, Mr Turner /Castis.

Crack on.

Better it was a aidanship

PortiaCastis · 04/09/2016 00:20

Night Being

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 00:52

Grin Waiting to transport you to heaven, Portia?

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 00:55

Just make sure that he gets up with your DD at the crack of dawn, Being. He owes you!

HelenaDove · 04/09/2016 00:56

Oh i read aidanship as like an apprenticeship. To study all things Aidan.

Including a hands on practical of course.

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 01:00

I'm sure that Portia would welcome that as well, Helena! A course in Aidan studies.

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 01:02

Hmm - 233 posts ain't bad for one evening!

peachmama · 04/09/2016 07:29

Good morning all!.

Up since 04:15 - might be faintly hysterical on copious amounts of caffeine.

Any bumps in the night? Grin.

Very autumnal here yesterday and today - good!.

portia - I don't know whether to mention Poldark snogging someone in the paper....in case a) it was you, b) it wasn't you.....c) it was an apparition and all in my mind......

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 08:37

Let's say it was an apparition, peach, as it's Thread 13... Portia would be much happier with that explanation.

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 08:41

Let's hope that Being is still in bed, slumbering peacefully, while her carousing OH is up entertaining their two-year-old!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/09/2016 08:50

I am indeed still in bed. OH got up to her crying at 6am and then gave her his phone to keep her quiet until now. I woke up naturally. How lovely! Grin

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 09:02

Well, at least there's some justice in the world, Being!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/09/2016 09:24

Bloody stupid bladder forcing me to get up!

VanillaSugar · 04/09/2016 09:46

I did see a ghost! On the A64 going from York to Malton. It was May 2000 & 10.30 pm & I was astonished because the sun was just setting. Out of my right hand side window i saw 2 shadowy figures who looked like 1970s students - a bit like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. One was wearing a long knitted stripes scarf like Tom Baker as Dr Who.
I looked in my rear mirro and they'd gone!

They were weird because a) they were walking along the middle of the other lane so I was thinking "why are they not on the side of the road?"
B) they were not solid. That's the only way to describe them - they were it solid.

The only thing i can think of us that they'd been walking home and been knocked down. The road has been widened since the 1970s so that explains why they were walking in the old road.

This took place near Stockton on the Forest, if anyone knows anything..

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 04/09/2016 09:48

being. Bladders are so annoying. When Ds was in nappies, I often eyed them and thought, "Couldn't I just....?"

Bit small though.

peach. I love autumn; my favourite time of the year.

vanilla

(shivers with delight). Now this is what I'm talking about!

OP posts:
BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/09/2016 09:52

Jess, exactly! Why bother potty training at all. Let us all live in nappies. The world would be a happier place. Grin

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/09/2016 09:53

OK - that is spoooooky! Poor students, if that bit is true. Sad I prefer to think that they had such a fantastic, drunken evening, that their high spirits have taken nebulous form which persists down the decades!

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 04/09/2016 09:57

being. Provided people were able to control the gurning, groaning and eye-rolling DS used to do when having a number two.

Imagine talking to your bank manager.

portia

Is he drunk? Would it be morally wrong to take advantage?

OP posts:
PortiaCastis · 04/09/2016 10:19

I'll see what he says Grin
My bed is calling me back

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/09/2016 10:21

How is it Monday tomorrow?!? 😫😫😫

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 04/09/2016 10:24

How is DS starting school on Wednesday?!

Dry shampoo isn't working for me. My hair is now pretty much a bouffant, with a greyish tinge. It smells nice, though.

Perhaps I should just have a shower.

OP posts:
BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/09/2016 10:30

I never use dry shampoo. My hair may look cleaner but it still feels awful and itchy. I'd rather just shower.
