To put my Tassimo in the bedroom?

I've been thinking about moving the Tassimo into the bedroom, but have been told it's disgusting by a couple of people.
I can't help but fantasise about lattes on tap whilst lying in bed watching Netflix though! AIBU?

I think it's a great idea YANBU

PatMullins · 02/09/2016 19:59

Disgusting? Why?!
Sounds like a wonderful idea to me Smile

RaisingSteam · 02/09/2016 19:59

YANBU I would like to have a teasmade for me and the Tassimo for DH.

Randytortoise · 02/09/2016 20:00

No different to having a teas maid. Go for it.

ayeokthen · 02/09/2016 20:00

Why is it disgusting? It's not like you need to keep fresh milk or anything. Ours is in our bedroom (5am starts during the week) and it's awesome! We have time for a quick coffee and a chat in bed before we get up and the madness begins. It's a lovely part of our morning routine.

CantChoose · 02/09/2016 20:00

Do they think a tassimo is some kind of sex toy??

merrymouse · 02/09/2016 20:01

What do these people do when they stay in hotels with kettles and minibars?

fishybits · 02/09/2016 20:03

What a great idea!

cemay · 02/09/2016 20:05

Thank you all! Especially Can'tChoose, laughed myself silly! I really don't know why they thought it was so awful. Although said person is very houseproud to the point of OCD so possibly would just be against all food and drink in the bedroom?

That's made me feel loads better, thank you. Am off to stick it in the bedroom and binge watch Stranger Things!

I have one so I can make coffee in bed in the morning. Fabulous way to wake up.

YANBU !!! I'm going to do exactly this now :) I love my weekend lie ins by also love waking up for my coffee. Once I'm up I'm up - this is the perfect solution. Latte pods mean no milk needed from the fridge. Thank you!!

Had I not switched to brushing my teeth before eating or drinking in the morning after reading something about acidity levels and softening tooth enamel, I would totally do this.

cemay · 02/09/2016 20:26

I knew I'd find kindred spirits here! Grin

Mines never been anywhere except the bedroom!

Minisoksmakehardwork · 02/09/2016 20:35

We've done it. It has revolutionised early mornings and having a snuggly lie in.

Toomanycats99 · 02/09/2016 20:38

Our bedroom is now in the loft and my husband thinks we need one up there! Two flights of stairs for a coffee in the morning is too much.

Wait4nothing · 02/09/2016 20:40

Seriously considering buying another for the bedroom! We keep our bottle prep machine in the bedroom for dd already

SorryNotSorry · 02/09/2016 20:44

When we upgraded to an expresso machine the plan was always to put the tassimo in the spare bedroom if we ever upgraded to a house with spare bedrooms. I love a coffee machine in a hotel and want to offer a good stay to guests. But after this thread maybe we will put it in our room!

cemay · 02/09/2016 20:48

It is done!

Sounds great to me, now all you need to do is move the toaster in there too, and you need never get out of bed again.

John4703 · 02/09/2016 20:55

We have our coffee maker in the bedroom. It is so nice to have fresh filter coffee every morning. We also have a filter coffee machine in our caravan.
If you want your Tassimo in the bedroom then put it there.
A great way to wake up is coffee, a cuddle, DTD, a snooze then get up.

Mammylamb · 02/09/2016 20:56

Sounds a great idea. They are just jealous x

ohidoliketobe · 02/09/2016 21:02

Fantastic idea. Basically an adult version of a perfect prep.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 02/09/2016 21:03
