Absolutely fucking livid . Probably disproportionately so as I am hormonal but I don't care .

Background description :
House then back garden then garage then fenced area then entryway . All my boundary up to where my back fence meets the entryway. I am end terraced so entry runs down left hand side of garden and house too.

Have lived here many years . Not close with any neighbors . One on the left killed my cat other across the entry is pleasant . Say good morning and exchange pleasantries but no more than that .

Have been finding bins on my bit of land behind my house for a while - thought it may have been a mistake that neighbors might have thought it was my bin and put it there all nice as you do.

Today I have just watched several of my neighbors take the bins of people who are out at work or not in off the street and put them on my land! Like the area behind my garage is a fucking neighborhood bin store ! It's not !

It's my fucking land and AIBU to tell them to get the fuck to fucking fuck and fuck off some more!!!

And breathe .

Great minds Wink

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 15/09/2016 18:30

If bins round yours are anything like bins round here, I'd pop them straight on the garage.

They like to wander off so it'll be a handy way of replacing your own Smile

MumTryingHerBest · 15/09/2016 18:49

Cover the handles in tin foil and wire up to a couple of car batteries.

ThatsNotMyFuckingLife · 15/09/2016 20:32

:: rubs hands with glee at the thought of bin day... ::

ohfourfoxache · 15/09/2016 20:39

Holy fuck - they stole the sign?!!??? Shock

imnotreally · 15/09/2016 20:45

I would fix the fence while the bins are there. And then when they come knocking on your door asking for their bins back just look at them blankly and ask 'what bins'?

Unicorntrainer · 15/09/2016 21:06

Like justilou, I knew it was your bin day tomorrow and forgot about my own this morning.

Cheeky bastards stealing your sign!

Electric fence sounds like the way to go Wink

SapphireSeptember · 15/09/2016 21:07

Hmm, this thread has moved on quite a bit since I last read it...The plot thickens! I can't believe they stole your sign! Shock

OP, Flowers for you and your poor darling cat, he looks beautiful. It sucks you couldn't get the police to do anything about your cunty neighbour. Sad

YouTheCat · 15/09/2016 21:13

A chain and a strong padlock would make them have to come and ask for their bins.

Unicorntrainer · 15/09/2016 21:19

A sign saying 'cctv cameras are in operation'?

justilou · 15/09/2016 22:08

Totally waiting for "Bin Day - The Movie"!!!

WashBasketsAreUs · 15/09/2016 22:11

Time to up the ante now. Get a couple of friends round, one to do the school run, any shopping you need etc. The other friends can be the back up if you need to go for a wee etc. Get up by the garage/fence with a hosepipe or big bucket of water (obviously to clean your bin out! ) and then wait hide. When the sign thief/ bin mover appears round your fence, it would be such a shame if they got a hosepipe /bucket of water in their face when you were chucking it over your bin?

I'd be bloody livid by now and would be sleeping out there to catch them! Looking forward to tomorrow. Good luck x

DoloresVanCartier · 15/09/2016 22:35

One more sleeeeeeeeep!!! Op please don't have any jobs to do tomorrow, I've got the popcorn in and will be hoping for live updates Grin

IwillrunIwillfly · 15/09/2016 22:55

I love this thread! Cant wait for tomorrow. Forget the daily mail stealing this story, it'll be a bbc drama!

Babyiwantabump · 15/09/2016 23:02

Loving the lost sign sign idea!

I can't believe someone removed it! It was stuck on to within an inch of its life so someone must have spent ages getting it off!

Bloody mithering old biddies!

Crazy next door ladies bin is already out so I'm very tempted to use the cover of night to move it down the street and round the corner !

I have to take DS1 to play group tomorrow at 1 so I'm worried I'm going to miss the bin men! It's only his second day so I can't not take him . Might have to get my sister round so she can be on bin watch.

I'm still gob smacked they took my bloody sign! It took me ages!

SillyMoomin · 15/09/2016 23:14

Aaaagh. It's infuriating and I'm only reading about it op!!

God knows how you haven't emptied one of their bins over their garden by now Grin

RhodaBorrocks · 15/09/2016 23:24

Ready for tomorrow! [Settles in with a wheelie bin full of popcorn]

OP, may I also add to the suggestion to fix your fence? I think this wouldn't be considered OTT in this situation...

Blink1982 · 15/09/2016 23:40

I'm glad my bin days the same as yours op. It means I get a reminder to come check the thread ;)

ThatsWotSheSaid · 15/09/2016 23:48

Big fake CCTV camera looking straight at the bin area?
or could you borrow a loud dog and put him on a chain just long enough to give them a scare?

SlatternIsTrying · 16/09/2016 00:00

I'm happy to lend you my dog for the day. He is rather large and has a very menacing bark, but is a total softie.

TyrionLannisterforKing · 16/09/2016 00:39

This thread was all I was waiting for to stop lurking. OP, back to the cat: Use the rain to your advantage while salting the neighbour's garden. Use as much as you can, and enjoy watching all the evidence vanish in front of your eyes.

RaspberryOverload · 16/09/2016 06:38

Tyrion that is an evil idea. [Grin] Might keep it in mind for future use.

VioletBam · 16/09/2016 06:43
