Absolutely fucking livid . Probably disproportionately so as I am hormonal but I don't care .

Background description :
House then back garden then garage then fenced area then entryway . All my boundary up to where my back fence meets the entryway. I am end terraced so entry runs down left hand side of garden and house too.

Have lived here many years . Not close with any neighbors . One on the left killed my cat other across the entry is pleasant . Say good morning and exchange pleasantries but no more than that .

Have been finding bins on my bit of land behind my house for a while - thought it may have been a mistake that neighbors might have thought it was my bin and put it there all nice as you do.

Today I have just watched several of my neighbors take the bins of people who are out at work or not in off the street and put them on my land! Like the area behind my garage is a fucking neighborhood bin store ! It's not !

It's my fucking land and AIBU to tell them to get the fuck to fucking fuck and fuck off some more!!!

And breathe .

I would pop all the bins into my garage and deny all knowledge - just act all mystified - why would YOUR bins be in my land?

Bin Bastards!

Babyiwantabump · 26/08/2016 13:41

Thank you cheesy

I love a good diagram : )

You need a sign, and to replace the missing fence. Or plant a load of big thorny shrubs on it.

Effiewhaursmabaffies · 26/08/2016 13:42

superglue the lids shut

Crazycatladyloz82 · 26/08/2016 13:42

I feel your pain OP. When we moved into our house a few years back our neighbours kept putting their bins in front of our driveway every rubbish day. Our house had been empty for a while so I figured they would stop once they got used to the fact we lived there. They didn't. Every week I moved their bins in front of their drive and put ours in front of our drive. I heard them bitching to each other that the bins now blocked their drive and how dare I keep moving their bins. I spoke to them and explained their bins go in front of their drive not ours. They made all the right noises that they understood and it wouldn't happen again. The next week I got home late from work and their fucking bins were across our drive again in preparation for the rubbish collection the next morning. I saw red. I grabbed their food waste bin, flipped the lid off and dropped kicked it onto their drive. Their rotting food waste went all over their drive, I would like to say I felt guilty but I didn't as I had tried to be nice. Since then they have never dared to do it again.

diddl · 26/08/2016 13:42

Do you use that bit of land?

If not, I'd be renting it out as a bin store!

Are the bins left there permanently or do the owners collect them when in from work?

Are the people who put the bins there also leaving their own there?

Diddlydokey · 26/08/2016 13:44

When my neighbours leave their bins across my driveway or on the footpath I leave them right outside their front door so they can't ignore them anymore. This is probably passive aggressive.

Dogolphin · 26/08/2016 13:45

Thank them very much for giving you new bins. Pop them in the garage. Look hurt and surprised when they ask for them back.

Uhohheregoes · 26/08/2016 13:45

Repair your fence

Uhohheregoes · 26/08/2016 13:47

Crazycatlady you made me snort at my desk in work😂😂

CatNip2 · 26/08/2016 13:47

do you not know the people that moved the bins? I would knock on their doors and ask them not to.

MerylPeril · 26/08/2016 13:48

Temporary fencing of some sort. I don't know if you can get that plastic orange stuff from building sites.
You need to block it off. They'll soon learn

DaDman66 · 26/08/2016 13:48

Get a sign up, have a word.

If not, hide in in the bin and then pop out as they start to move it.

Povertypain - just how good are you at picking locks?!?!!?!?

Pettywoman · 26/08/2016 13:49

I bloody love a diagram. Bravo OP!

A passive aggressive chalk message on your concrete perhaps?

PovertyPain · 26/08/2016 13:52

Povertypain - just how good are you at picking locks?!?!!?!?

Breaking locks would be a better description. All I need is two appropriate sized spanners. Wink

honeysucklejasmine · 26/08/2016 13:52

Crazy cat you are my new hero.

redpriestandmozart · 26/08/2016 13:54

Awesome diagram, I salute your use of high lighter pens :)

PuppyMonkey · 26/08/2016 13:54

I would fill all the bins with my rubbish. Do you need a clear out? Grin

Assume it was a mistake, point the mistake out to them, and ask them politely not to do it again.

Most people would be immediately mortified and problem will be solved.

ProfYaffle · 26/08/2016 13:58

Oh God, I had very, very similar happen to me. I didn't know whose bin was being left in our parking space (3 in total, difficult to park on bin day) so I left a polite note on the bin asking they don't leave it in front of our garage any more. Neighbour knocked, Mother and Father of all rows, screaming at me, apparently I'm arrogant for not wanting extra bins stored on my land and any normal person would be happy to do it Confused

Upshot was they stopped leaving it there but neighbour still believes they have a God given right to park in our space if they decide they 'need' to.

memyselfandaye · 26/08/2016 13:59

I would also chain and padlock the bastards. The bins, not the neighbours.

Caken · 26/08/2016 14:09

Nothing to add other than I love that there's a diagram. More diagrams are needed in threads such as this. As you were. (And down with the rotten bin scum shakes fist)

sleepy16 · 26/08/2016 14:21

Not good, I would definitely phone the council and tell them you have bins that have been dumped on your land.
I have neighbours that put there bins out right outside my house (no front garden) and when there's 4 of them they stink esp in summer when I have my bedroom window open!
People just don't think or give a crap

Mix56 · 26/08/2016 14:22

I would take all the bins & stick them back on the road. Leave a big sign on each of them, Do not leave your crap on my private property.
