They really don't.

Why do people feel the need to announce their first ever biscuit? Like they achieved something special.

MN should ban that stupid smiley. It looks like a doughnut anyway.

Jammie Dodgers are biscuits.

Unlike Jaffa Cakes. Which are cakes. In the biscuit aisle.

Assam · 25/08/2016 21:29

I've never given one out in 10 years Halo

HackAttack · 25/08/2016 21:29

It is bloody stupid, up there with 'its my first ltb' so what?

fuzzyllama · 25/08/2016 21:29

I could really go for a jammy dodger or two now you mention it...

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 25/08/2016 21:30

I've never posted a biscuit.

It's the limpest insult ever, right up with 'did you mean to be so rude'

I wonder if this would work in real life? Be a bit grumpy, get pelted with tasty biscuits.

Sallystyle · 25/08/2016 21:30

I am grumpy because my insomnia has been awful.

I not normally a grumpy poster but that biscuit, it has just been done to death.

OP posts:
Sallystyle · 25/08/2016 21:31

What is insulting about being given a biscuit anyway? Where did it come from?

I wish people offered me biscuits in real life every time I pissed them off.

Arkhamasylum · 25/08/2016 21:32

Insomnia is rubbish. Can I offer you one of these? Wine

booellesmum · 25/08/2016 21:32

I am totally lost. Does posting a biscuit mean something??

Sallystyle · 25/08/2016 21:32

Wine sounds good.

DioneTheDiabolist · 25/08/2016 21:33

Someone gave me their "first ever biscuit" once. I was so proud. Until I ASd them and you know what? It wasn't their first.

I felt betrayed and cheap.Sad

ShowOfHands · 25/08/2016 21:33

I think it's useful shorthand. I'm still yet to use it myself.

WetPaint4 · 25/08/2016 21:35

Why is a biscuit a bad thing though? Why not a turd or something: 'you're being a shit' kinda thing? Biscuits are wonderful, happy things.

acasualobserver · 25/08/2016 21:35

I'm not sure if I've given a biscuit. I don't think so. I've certainly never given anyone flowers, chocolate or wine - now that really is lame.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 25/08/2016 21:35

I think it means 'what you have just posted was so stupid I'm not going to comment, so instead I give you a biscuit.' Or something
