She's 93 but you wouldn't think so. She still rides her bike for short distances and is in good health apart from her sharp tongue. She's quite taken to Jim who never takes off his hat. She can be embarrassing a la this afternoon singing in the pub garden. Disgraceful language from someone who won the war all on her own!

Wow Portia - 93 I did not expect that! From how you describe her, I assumed she'd must have had your mum young, and your mum had you young, so that she'd be in her late 60's.

Here's to earplugs!! DH is a chronic snorer so I always have to have a stash near to hand. in fact, I'm so used to sleeping with earplugs in, I can't sleep without them. Even when I'm on my own...

Mum had me young but Gran had Mum in her late thirties. She was involved in war stuff in London and didn't marry until about 33. She went to London because she joined the WAAF and never lets us forget it. So Mum is 58 and of course Im 21
