It's ok Being, stop panicking!!! I've found this barn, it accommodates precisely 451 guests. Any more than 451 and it's a fire hazard.

Luckily, the farmer said he's happy to let us have it for the night, as long as one of the guests gives him a blowie. So that's the venue sorted.

We can BBQ the Unicown (with £15 worth of garlic) to feed the guests.

Oooh thats such a perfect wedding venue, I'm jealous!

Ok, ceremony at the Co-Op, reception at the barn.

Who is going to take one for the team and give the farmer his payment?

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2016 12:01

Please stop dissing my curtains.
I did wash them 😄

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2016 12:02

Gran says how many scons per head?

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 12:03

AGL. You would love my Co Op. My man/boy isn't the only hottie in there (although my eyes never stray from his Bambi-esque face).

toad Dr Seth just accused me of 'flirting' with him. Flirting! Me! I'm giving myself a gold star

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 12:05

being Oviously I will 'take one for the team' regarding ceremony location. I'd be happy to do that for you. Sometimes, I think I am overly-generous.... (sigh)

RedOnHerHedd · 17/08/2016 12:07

The farmer said to watch out for his old crusty cock. I'm hoping he means the old cockerel in the barn.

Bettercallsaul1 · 17/08/2016 12:08

I've just checked in to see how the wedding arrangements are going and, as the self nominated bridesmaid, I am horrified at that picture of bridesmaids' dresses! Is that the Von Trapp family? In any case, I'm wearing blue!!

Everything else is fine!

RedOnHerHedd · 17/08/2016 12:09

You have to be the bridesmaid from Hell don't you Bettercallsaul you'll wear the vontrap dress or else!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 17/08/2016 12:11

Thank you Jess, you're a real trooper!

And Portia, I'm thinking at least 5 scohnes per head. That should do it right?

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 12:11

red. I don't think I have ever heard the word crusty quite as much as on this thread Grin

toadgirl · 17/08/2016 12:12

Kind of puts you off crusty bread, doesn't it?

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 17/08/2016 12:13

old crusty cock boak!

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2016 12:14

Being I'll give Gran a hand and Aidy can add to my mix

Bettercallsaul1 · 17/08/2016 12:16

Portia - at least one scone each (that's 451). If she has time on her hands, two would be generous (902).

One important thing - could you ask her to make sure it's scones to rhyme with gone she's making? I don't like the kind that rhyme with cone. Also, don't mention this to Vanilla - she's busy with her DD today and it wouldn't be fair to burden her. she likes the kind that rhyme with cone.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 17/08/2016 12:18

How about we have a mixture of scons and scohnes? That way everybody is happy. None of the cream first crap though.

RubyCav · 17/08/2016 12:18

Better they should rhyme with cone!

RubyCav · 17/08/2016 12:19

Defiantly jam first

RubyCav · 17/08/2016 12:19

*Definitely

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 17/08/2016 12:19

I love it when Jam is defiant!

Bettercallsaul1 · 17/08/2016 12:22

OK, let's go for the compromise option of half scons and half scohns ( perhaps make the scon half a little bigger?)

Also, half jam on first, half cream to keep everyone happy. (Say 55% cream first, 45% jam?)

That should please everyone.

RedOnHerHedd · 17/08/2016 12:22

I have to go and do a RL thing now, after I've removed the cat off my lap. DS1 wants me to Taxi take him to buy a new XBox game. I've just realised that we need music or some sort. Anybody play any musical instruments? I can play a bit of guitar and drums. And I can play a church organ too. Oh, and ukulele. Any of you remember how to play the recorder from way back in school days?????

PortiaCastis · 17/08/2016 12:23

I'll tell her 1000 that should do it!
