To be fed up with the Audrey Hepburn chocolate advert........?

I am a massive AH fan but that advert drives me up the wall. I have completely gone off Moon River now and that CGI of her doesn't look anything like her at all!!

I have to mute it. I hate, hate her singing Moon River, the thin reedy voice is nails on a blackboard to me!

I have always hated it! I have never watched any AH films, so have no preconceptions of her, but she looks so bloody SMUG in it. I used to love Moon River but hate it now.

I think I read that Robin Williams put in his will that his image is not allowed to be used in adverts for 30 years after his death!! Wise move.

Entitled little madam. I want to smack the chocolate out if her hand and make her apologise to the bus driver for stealing a part if his uniform. Gwah. It winds me up.

Her face looks oddly pulled back and weird...I didn't even know it was her until this thread.

I hate the ad but it makes me laugh as whenever I hear Moon River I recall being in a bar in Hong Kong where a group of Japanese tourists were doing karaoke. One of them sang Moon Liver beautifully. 😄 I can never think of it as anything else now.

I also want the bus driver to jump out of the bus and grab his hat back, or for the car driver to tell her to go fuck herself, when she insists upon him wearing it

Feels like this ad has been on for a decade -they are certainly getting their monies worth. The blinking does my head in and she isn't at all charming with her bratty attitude and snatching the bus drivers hat. Twat.
