To be fed up with the Audrey Hepburn chocolate advert........?

I am a massive AH fan but that advert drives me up the wall. I have completely gone off Moon River now and that CGI of her doesn't look anything like her at all!!

I assume her estate would have needed to license the use of her image, so it always struck me as weird they'd do it for a cheesy ad for a fairly crappy chocolate bar in which she looks like a CGI Botox Bunny...? I agree, I always want the bus driver to call a cop and say she nicked his uniform, and the guy with the car to make her get out and say she's not in bloody Driving Miss Daisy!

Drives my fucking crazy. Hate the song, and want to punch her smug face when she takes the hat from the bus driver and puts it on that poor mans head.

Disclaimer, I am nursing a terrible hangover and have been subjected to this advert three times today. Also, I'm back to work tomorrow after almost 7 weeks.

SHOCK alert- I just clicked a link from another thread and guess what ad popped up on the side! There was no way to stop it. No little x at the topcorner. And I'm sure I have autoplay turned off... at least it has never happened before.

Oh god, HATE it. And the use of someone who had a lifelong battle with eating disorders to sell chocolate really doesn't sit well with me.

The surrealest bit of that advert isn't reviving her from the dead, it's 'casting' a woman who had a 20 inch waist and body shape courtesy of severe malnutrition whilst growing up... As, an advert for eating a calorie and fat filled chocolate bar.

Eat chocolate. Be malnourished. Eat chocolate. Judge yourself against an in achievable body type except if you grew up poor in a war. Eat chocolate. Hate yourself... Eat chocolate

Yup. That's not bat shit. Nooo. Not at all.

Hate it! I've never got the adulation over AH - I find her simpering and a bit pathetic. She certainly couldn't sing and would not have eaten chocolate! Had enough of it about the 2nd time I saw it, now I've seen it about 2000 times!

No, Ego - she gets the chocolate out of her handbag in an annoyingly smug way after she gets off the stalled bus, swipes the driver's hat and elects car guy as her personal chauffeur! Every time I see the damn ad, I hope it's melted...

Why is nasty crappy muck like Galaxy invariably marketed at women? Do they think we are all idiots with no taste who won't like the decent stuff which actually tastes of chocolate rather than cheap fat & sugar?

they are fucking taking the piss! me and my husband have hated that advert since day one moaning that the looky likie was shit, if it is CGI then they wasted their money because now not only do I think the lookie likie was shit and find out it was not, I am bored to death with it.
the face was too wide and square what where they thinking?
