20... looking forward to my 21st... had met Him-I-Was-to-Marry, thought he was great. He still is!

Today I have just welcomed him home from a week working away, spent half an hour catching up, sent him off to the pub and we will have tea when he gets back - in about 30 minutes... I'll make it while he has a shower.

I am 21, living in London, working at the new CPS, and about a month away from losing my virginity! I haven't met him yet, but the moment I see him I know that it's going to happen with him.

I'm enjoying London life!

Catsrus · 12/08/2016 18:30

I was on a holiday with my fiancé in Yorkshire. We were married 23yrs and for a lot of that time I adored him. Looking back now I can see some clear red flags even then - but I'd never met a narcissist before so was totally unable to put two and two together. So naive and so much in love (and denial !)

On the plus side I have my fab DC, good friends (including some of the now ex in laws ) and couldn't be happier with my new life ! No Regrets on marrying him, but maybe I should have been the one to end it sooner. Who knows.

FanSpamTastic · 12/08/2016 18:31

I was 17, learning to drive, half way through a levels. Partying, working and loving life.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 12/08/2016 18:32

JudyCoolibar · 12/08/2016 18:33

Between two pregnancies, both of which ended in miscarriage. 1986 was my annus horribilis. However, the following year's pregnancy ended in the birth of DD, so things definitely improved.

Birdsgottafly · 12/08/2016 18:35

I was enjoying the first summer with my eldest DD, who was 10 months old and feeling very hopeful because my DH had secured a stable job.

I was working out with my Sister today, how old the extension on my Mums (now ours) house was, it's 40 years old, this month! Scary stuff this passing of time business.

marcopront · 12/08/2016 18:35

Waiting for my A level results, but not sure what else.

Lots of us seem to have been 18, 30 years ago.

DioneTheDiabolist · 12/08/2016 18:36

BillThePony · 12/08/2016 18:37

  1. And about to turn into my DPs worst nightmare.
amusedbush · 12/08/2016 18:39

My parents had been married a year and I wasn't even a blip on their radar yet Grin

KittensWithWeapons · 12/08/2016 18:40

I was 1, and if family lore is to be believed, I was stomping around, mushing all my food up together, all snot encrusted (I always had a cold and chest infection, so pretty much had a crust of snot until I was about 10) and throwing the most tremendous temper tantrums. I'd ball up my fists, stamp my foot, and scream until my face turned puce and, sometimes, until I vomited.

30 years on... Still the same Grin

meiisme · 12/08/2016 18:40

10, sticking John Taylor pictures in scrapbooks during the long deserved summer holiday, after being in Ms Gerlofsma's class for a whole year. Blech, couldn't stand that woman, and she couldn't stand me. Following year's teacher was ace.

notamummy10 · 12/08/2016 18:42

I was -6 years and a bit old

situatedknowledge · 12/08/2016 18:42
