I was just 7 and very serious about going to.big school (primary) in the autumn.

I was 4 so not entirely sure!! Probably making mud pies one of my earliest memories is making mud pies. No now I think about it I would be just about to start school 30 years ago!

I was 17 months old and about to become a big sister

One of my earliest memories concerns being in a converted church doing something with empty cornflake packets!

1. Not a clue what I'd have been doing. Playing with My Little Pony and drawing to while the holiday away I guess.

I was 16 😧 I was looking forward to a holiday in th October that my parents had booked in a fit of guilt because they'd gone away with their friends in the summer and I'd not had a holiday...it started an ongoing love for Portugal, I've lost count of the number of times I've been since, I was there 2 weeks ago!

I was 21 and just about to start the final year of my degree. I was working on building sites during the day and in a pub in the evening. I went back with bigger biceps than some of the male PE students.

I was 8 and spending most of my summer holidays playing out with a group of friends or in my best friend's house.

Probably shitting in a terry nappy and being grumpy. I would have been 18 months old.

Waiting for my O level results!! Last year of O levels. I was on holiday in Scotland with my friend and her mum who was a geography teacher. Her mum was scary as anything (taught in girls private school) but was directly responsible for me studying Geology at university 2 years later.

I was a tiny baby and my parents were terrified as I'd just come out of SCBU and wouldn't take any milk and cried all summer. Sorry mom and dad.

I was 9 months old

Aged 17 and just started to learn to drive.

Found out through reading my medical records I'd been in a SCBU as well everygalaxy

mrsfuzzy I have fence envy - I need a new fence but it's so hard to find someone here to do the work.

I had just booked a last minute cheap holiday deal (the sort with flights at 3am) depsrting tomorrow to Calella on the Costa Brava with some bloke I'd met in July. It was a bit of a punt, who knew how we'd get on......

I.... didn't exist yet. Don't think I was even conceived, don't turn thirty until next year. It's interesting to hear stories from thirty years ago, I really hope I'll still have memories by then (and the family history of dementia hasn't affected me!).

I was14, counting down the days to a 2 week Spanish holiday , hopelessly in love with some guy who is now my gay BFF and dealing with a
2 French exchange students that summer.

Oh and probably mooning over "Pretty in Pink" which was out that summer too.

In a field, picking soft fruit for piecework rates. I was comparatively slow, so didn't make as much as the better pickers.
