While Corbyn wouldn't be my choice for Labour leader he must be doing something right if he's pissed off F4J. The letter shown looks perfectly reasonable. Are you a F4J supporter OP or are you just anti Corbyn?

RepentAtLeisure · 05/08/2016 13:54

In the letter Corbyn said he saw no reason to change the system of putting the child's interests first.

Good for him. Why are F4J against that?!

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 05/08/2016 14:21

(sesame st division)'?

Well, they're muppets, that's for sure Grin

Justanotherlurker · 05/08/2016 14:52

Corbyn the man of integrity ?

The man who doesn't believe in the House of Lords is nominating someone who managed to whitewash find no anti-semetism in the party for a peerage.

TheWernethWife · 05/08/2016 14:53

Please who says Jeremy Corbyn is unelectable - not the thousands who have come to hear him speak, not the thousands who have joined the Labour Party since he became leader and not the Constituency Labour Party's who have voted to support him rather than Owen Smith. If 172 MPs want to throw their dummies out of the pram then that's their problem - mine just voted to support Owen Smith, he won't be getting my vote come the next election.

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/08/2016 14:57

If he's disliked by F4J he's probably doing something right. This a thousand times. My enemy's enemy is my friend and all that.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 05/08/2016 14:59

I'm not a huge fan of Corbyn's these days but he's gained back a few points for having pissed off those F4J imbeciles.

LoreleiGilmoreIsMyBFF · 05/08/2016 15:10

Do F4J do anything constructive other than sitting on roofs?

whattheseithakasmean · 05/08/2016 15:14

I cant stand Corbyn's politics, so I am disappointed to find myself agreeing with his letter about putting the child's rights first - I guess a stopped clock it right twice a day. F4J have just made Corbyn look good, so that is a major achievement, I guess.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/08/2016 15:28

Good for him. Why are F4J against that?!

F4J aren't interested in the children's rights. They're interested in THEIR rights.

Smurfnoff · 05/08/2016 15:34

I don't see the correlation between F4J not liking Corbyn and him resigning. Your ramblings are completely incoherent.

Magikarp · 05/08/2016 15:35

Totally lost any respect for OP after the use of "lol".

I'm a Corbyn supporter!

WantToRunAgain · 05/08/2016 15:40

TheWernethWife, the opinion polls say he's unelectable, history says he's unelectable, common sense says he's unelectable.

The tiny number of people who make up the majority of Labour Party members are nowhere close to being enough to get him elected.

I can't understand the Cult of Corbyn - he's so massively unimpressive as a politician I really don't get it.

And I'm a very long standing labour supporter and member.

Dutchcourage · 05/08/2016 15:42

alpaca that actually made me laugh out.

Grandparent rights 😂😂

LoreleiGilmoreIsMyBFF · 05/08/2016 15:44

Blairite, rather.

SarfEast1cated · 05/08/2016 15:45

Shami Chakrabarti is an amazing woman with a lot of integrity. She is one of the few people in our society who should get a peerage fgs. She will be a massive asset to the Lords.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/08/2016 15:46

Dutchcourage, grandparents can apply to court for access rights etc, in exceptional circumstances - that's what I've heard, anyway. I don't know how successful that is, I should imagine it's examined on a case by case basis, so no blanket rights as such.

LoreleiGilmoreIsMyBFF · 05/08/2016 15:46

Last post directed at 'WantToRunAgain' and yeah, the biggest terrorist of all time probably does ....

Gowgirl · 05/08/2016 15:47

Grandparents rights! Just when I thought F4J couldn't get any more ridiculous....

LoreleiGilmoreIsMyBFF · 05/08/2016 15:50

Can someone explain why these men can't just go through the courts like every other male parent? Oh! That's right! Because if they did, they'd never have a hope in hell of seeing their kids again! Losers, abusers and every shade in between. Please, guys, stop calling yourselves 'fathers'.

TwatbadgingCuntfuckery · 05/08/2016 15:50

oh you think F4J are ridiculous... take a look at this bullshit I keep seeing :(

Corbyn has it absolutely right. Family court should be child centred.

Gowgirl · 05/08/2016 15:51

It's obviously more fun to hang off a building dressed as batmanWink

ShebaShimmyShake · 05/08/2016 15:52

Didn't the guy who founded F4J disassociate himself from it entirely some years ago because it had been taken over by abusive men? Or have I got that wrong?

LoreleiGilmoreIsMyBFF · 05/08/2016 15:53

badger Yep. The 'fathers' fighting for 'justice'. In spidey suits.
