Yeah, I think we all know now, but is there like a 1% chance any form of ticket looks like this!?!?

This is basically a follow on too

Gosh I can't believe this is still going on. I think the CM has had you on :(

AcrossthePond55 · 01/08/2016 20:09

Yep, the zoo probably isn't going to post 'It's a fake!!!!' on FB, they're going to want to deal with what they probably think is ticket fraud (poster buying a fake from someone) quietly. Plus the people posting as the zoo are just the social media team, not the 'right' department to handle this, iyswim.

Email them a jpg attachment or link to FB post.

BlossomHillOne · 01/08/2016 20:09

Doesn't look real to me.

Irelephant · 01/08/2016 20:09

It can't be real (not placemarking at all)

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 01/08/2016 20:09

Chester's current answer says it all. There is no reason to refer a legit ticket to email. There is for fake tickets - to check where it's come from, and if they need to take action (for example, if there was someone selling this type of ticket on eBay).

It's good PR to take that into private comms.

MadrigalElectromotive · 01/08/2016 20:09

That ticket is a steaming pile of bullshit.

Placemarking Grin

Does everyone remember when mn was anonymous and we didn't all out ourselves in our need to know the truth GrinGrin

FrogletinaBallerina · 01/08/2016 20:10

If this picture was attached, I would think it was a real ticket... not found by Google image searching Chester Zoo tickets, not at all

BummyMummy77 · 01/08/2016 20:10

This isn't a Chester zoo pr stunt is it? Grin

rollonthesummer · 01/08/2016 20:10

Have you emailed the ticket to customers services like the Chester Zoo people have asked on the FB post, OP? I doubt they'll comment again.

EarthboundMisfit · 01/08/2016 20:11

Op, have you seen the comments on the fb thread? I am concerned your relationship with the CM might get really awkward. As much as I want to know the outcome of this, in your position I'd want the threads deleted...

I'm sitting here like a firework bird, waiting for it all to blow...

Yes, I have emailed them... I've also seen the facebook post, tbh here I am hoping she doesn't see

Just told DH all about this thread and he said he wants to go to Chester Zoo, so if there's no update by the weekend I will post a picture of our real ticket Wink

JinRamen · 01/08/2016 20:12

Can't be a PR stunt, the reviews are rubbish!

I think they'd say to take it to email regardless, as if it looked exactly like the real ones, but the person posting it had some reason to think it was fake, they aren't going to confirm anything online without a good careful look at it in person.

If this all happened, I do also feel sorry for everyone involved having it all play out on social media. I don't think that gives a fair hearing to anyone.

PirateFairy45 · 01/08/2016 20:13

Fake. And place marking

CatNip2 · 01/08/2016 20:13

Nooooooooooo, no deleted threads, please.

KenAdams · 01/08/2016 20:13

We haven't had a good thread like this for ages!

Can't believe she is trying to pass that off as a ticket!

Dandelionandfizz · 01/08/2016 20:13

I don't think the OP is the person who posted the picture to Facebook.

TheresaMarie55 · 01/08/2016 20:13

Also, its not 22 pounds for a child its less and if she booked online you get a 10% discount. Pretty sure a child ticket is 20 pounds even in summer holidays and on busiest days then you get 10% off for online booking. Did she not think you'd check? I'd print out or send her a link to Chester zoo prices. She doesn't have a leg to stand on then x
