This has never happened before, but a group of 10 are sat on my wall in my front garden. Im supposed to be out but I opened the front door saw them, gave them a frown and went back inside.

Wwyd really?

CocktailQueen · 07/07/2016 17:44

Yes, I would. I wouldn't feel comfortable being in my garden if they were there.

Ezzie29 · 07/07/2016 17:45

Tell them to feck off! That kind of thing annoys me so much, I felt a thrill of rage just reading your post!

WorraLiberty · 07/07/2016 17:45

Why would you want to be that rude to them?

If they're bothering you, just say something like "Hi, could you move off of my wall please? Thanks".

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 07/07/2016 17:46

Hmm. Do they look like they'd piss in your garden and post shit through your letterbox?

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 07/07/2016 17:47

what do you think they will do? are they preventing you from going out? are they being extremely noisy? what is your issue with them? they are human y'know and if you ask them nicely why they are there they might actually reply.

Just ask them nicely not to sit on the wall. Maybe add it's inclined to lean over and might fall down.

LordyMe · 07/07/2016 17:51

You should have asked them to help you with some chores. Smile

Oysterbabe · 07/07/2016 17:52

Why can't you go out?

Go and join them. Squidge up beside them and say 'yo baes, what's da banter? Hashtag awkward af'.

They will soon scarper.

WorraLiberty · 07/07/2016 17:54

Lumpy, get off the fence.

You're not a bloody teenager Grin

PeaceOfWildThings · 07/07/2016 17:54

I just go out and take a photo. So far, they've all asked me why, and so I calmly say we've had an attempted burglary in the past and the police are ok with me taking photos of any activity I consider suspicious. If they have not yet walked off, I tell them sitting on MY wall is suspicious to me, I don't like it (I am polite and apologetic; it's not them, it's me) and I am well within the law to take photos of them.... So far they have all left and not come back!

tabulahrasa · 07/07/2016 17:54

Why?

What are they doing that's annoying? If you couldn't tell they were there from inside and you're not wanting to sit out there?...

PortiaCastis · 07/07/2016 17:55

Water the garden and then say hi what are you all up to making sure they can hear the Cliff Richard music.

MargotLovedTom · 07/07/2016 17:56

This happened in our old place. I was going to live and let live, then one of the cheeky sods sat on the bonnet of my new car Shock. I was out there in an instant giving it an outraged "Errrrrrr!!!! Do you mind????!"
Never saw them again. Why can't they hang around parks with cheap cider like we did? Wink.

scoobyloobyloo · 07/07/2016 17:56

What would you do if they were old people?

VulcanWoman · 07/07/2016 17:57

Yeah I agree, play some embarrassing music, they'll cringe and move away.

WorraLiberty · 07/07/2016 17:58

That's exactly what I was wondering scooby

KittyLane1 · 07/07/2016 17:58

Go and talk to them about puberty and boys. Works for me when the kids in my class are being annoying. Grin

Seriously though, I would just go out and get on with it, with radio 4 blaring, and politely ask them to move on

MintyChapstick · 07/07/2016 17:59

Tell them to move. Cheeky little shits.

TheOddity · 07/07/2016 18:00

I would just say sorry but could you move off my wall please. Then they will apologise and move. We are still in Britain even if we are no longer in Europe. Even teenagers know he rules of basic social etiquette once asked!

MargotLovedTom · 07/07/2016 18:00

Personally I would do exactly the same if an elderly person sat on the bonnet of my new car.

SoleBizzz · 07/07/2016 18:03

Blast the hosepipe onto the little cheeky fuckers. Jet wash em
