Teenage girls and those stupid fucking photos give me the rage

I have stepdaughters and as a result have them and a few of their friends (who added me) on fb. They are constantly taking selfies of themselves either on their own or in groups with their hands over their faces so all you can see is one eye or a bit of skin. Either that it it's photos taken in the mirror with a flash so all you can see is their shoes or a shoulder. And there are hundreds of them.

It gives me a totally irrational rage. What is the fucking point? There are going to be a whole generation of girls who will have next to no photos of themselves at this age. I really don't get it. Beautiful girls who won't show their faces. Just why?

I think I need to hide most of these posts on FB before I give myself a hernia

Maybe I'm just old and decrepit (32) but what's with the 'Bae' these days anyway!? Are they just so super busy they don't have time for the extra B??? Teenagers are confusing. My daughter is only 2, I can't even imagine what life will be like by the time she's reached her teens! Lol

Bae also means poop in Danish so when I see the luv u bae it makes me laugh even more. It's the insincerity of some of them. Post a photo and fish for compliments and then bitch about each other on a group messenger 😂

I am looking at a picture right now of me aged 17. I had one of those cheap disposable cameras. Me and my bf got dressed up to the nines and did a photoshoot.

We look awful. I have an insane amount of blood red lipstick and I think my eyelashes are about to fall off. I wanted to look like Siouxsie, I think. I survived but still take selfies sometimes
