I'm feeling pretty shocked and scared right now.

Why did you vote for brexit?

I hope all those who voted out because it's undemocratic will be campaigning to remove the monarchy and House of Lords next!

fastdaytears · 24/06/2016 06:35

Very true InYour...
The monarchy is expensive and undemocratic so I assume we'll get a referendum on that soon.

Justaskingnottelling · 24/06/2016 06:37

Mango, do you really think politicians are going to start listening to you now just because we've left the EU? .

You're right about immigration though, because the economy will be fucked, so no one will want to come here.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 24/06/2016 06:37

I am way more worried about the economy and our trading position

And frankly the wasted taxpayers money having to re arrange everything

And the hate - oh the hate is going to be in fucking free fall now

branofthemist · 24/06/2016 06:37

I am a remainer and don't mind the monarchy, so glad I don't have to get involved in that one Grin

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 24/06/2016 06:37

I don't think we should let the first response derail the discussion. I was pretty extreme by anyone's standards.
I am really worried about the economy, the £ has been hammered overnight. The irony is that the economic fallout will probably hit the demographic groups that voted leave hardest.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 06:37

Outsider, by 'too big for its own good' I meant too many countries who are far too different to each other to be comparative and complement each other.

The bigger it got, the more undemocratic it became & the more difficult it became to manage it.

One size definitely does not fit all countries, as was proven with the Euro.

Lynnm63 · 24/06/2016 06:38

The £ has plummeted because cunts like George Soros bet against our money.
I'm quite happy with her Maj and the House of Lords thank you. It was junker and merkel I wanted rid off.
In true mumsnet style I'd like to tell leave camp to CANCEL THE CHEQUE 😂

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 24/06/2016 06:38

Just had another Lidl coffee too ! Suppose it'll just be Tesco and sainsburys now

Bad times man

twittwooery · 24/06/2016 06:38

Grass in my unexpected bad mood it made me smile that not much than 35% of the country has chosen how to allocate that 35%

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 06:39

Inyournightdress, nope - I won't be campaigning to remove them.

Frightfulphysician · 24/06/2016 06:39

I am completely shocked by the result.

The pound plummeting to lowest in 31 years, Japan ceased trading this morning due to market volatility, likelihood that Scotland and possibly NI will live UK. Inflation is likely along with increase in interests rates.

Not to mention that we have no idea who will lead while we leave. I seriously doubt Cameron will survive.

It seems like Cameron will likely be the cause of the breakup of the EU and the breakup of the UK, all because he was scared of Nigel Farage.

OutsiderInTheGarden · 24/06/2016 06:39

Mango when you say those countries are too different, what does that mean? Are you talking cultural differences?

Iamthegreatest1 · 24/06/2016 06:40

Fast Please continue your pointless tirade.
The rest of us decent Brexiters and Remainers will get on with the business of stabilising, restructuring and welcoming creative ideas going forward for our country. People like you will never learn, you clearly are atypical of the Remainers graph.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 06:41

I'm so glad I bothered to come on this thread and attempt to give the OP an honest answer to the apparently genuine question she asked!

At least some rabid bitches are able to get their rocks off insulting me & other leave voters - I feel like I'm providing a public service Hmm

For fucks sake.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 06:42

No outsider, not cultural differences, economic differences.

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 24/06/2016 06:43

I'm feeling dreadful this morning - I honestly thought Remain was going to walk it with 65% of the vote.

I have been undecided the entire campaign, feeling that Remain was the sensible vote but truly despising so many aspects of the EU and particularly the dodgy Commission / Troika set up.

Yesterday I thought fuck it, Remain are going to win so I'll vote out as a protest vote. How bloody stupid.

Mouseinahole · 24/06/2016 06:43

I can't believe it! I voted Remain and only one of the people I know and love has voted Leave. He is 80 years old believes the EU is undemocratic and that our sovereignty has been eroded.
I'm terrified for the future.

almondpudding · 24/06/2016 06:44

There are no 'uneducated' people in this country.

twittwooery · 24/06/2016 06:45

Already likely to lose our AAA credit rating

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 24/06/2016 06:47

They didn't feel listened to which created a void and that was filled by the hate filled nonsense rhetoric of the far right which they believed - that migrants that are the cause of their problems. Just like Germany thought it was the Jews that were the cause of their problems and voted in the Nazis - the voice of hatred - history repeating itself all over again. It's frightening.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 06:48

Im so happy. It doesn't mean I'm a racist. Im more inclined to welcome other due to not being TOLD to

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 06:49

so the shit voted out and the "educated" voted in... piss right off

twittwooery · 24/06/2016 06:50

LOL Farage has already admitted Leave lied!

branofthemist · 24/06/2016 06:50

I want to know why in the referendum and the last GE, the predictions have been so wrong.

What's changed? Or have they always been so far out? If so why is there so much attention paid to them?
