I'm feeling pretty shocked and scared right now.

Why did you vote for brexit?

All those thinking we are better off are so wrong. Goodbye NHS, goodbye a load of rights you probably didn't even know about.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 07:12

I have nothing to lose i can only go up.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 07:12

Unchecked migration flooding working class job market

That's an argument about people coming over here, stealing our jobs?*

Nope, it isn't.

Hence why I didn't say anything about 'people coming over here, stealing our jobs'.

But yeah, feel free to completely make up something I didn't say...

thebestfurchinchilla · 24/06/2016 07:12

shariomom Oh dear you have the wrong end of the stick! Most Europeans are white. 50% of immigrants to UK are from outside EU! I voted leave because I believe in democracy. i think the EU needs major reform. I did;t think we'd get it with a remain vote after Cameron went begging and got nowt even when brussels knew we had a referendum looming. So not a cat in hell's chance of getting in after a remain vote. I love europe and europeans I just don't believe in the EU.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 07:13

You maniacs, since when did the EU give us money for the nhs

Peppatina · 24/06/2016 07:13

Yes and now we will leave the NHS may be able to pull through.

I'm of the opinion staying in would have destroyed it for sure. Others think differently, I respect that.

What I don't respect is branding people racists or unintelligent because they think differently.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 07:13

Me too beetroot, and I think there are many more just like us.

RaskolnikovsGarret · 24/06/2016 07:13

It's just terrible for all our children who want to study or work in Europe. Why has Britain cut itself off from the rest of Europe? How short-sighted, ignorant and sad.

thebestfurchinchilla · 24/06/2016 07:14

All those thinking we are better off are so wrong. Goodbye NHS, goodbye a load of rights you probably didn't even know about.

Your NHS comment is ridiculous. As for the rights, it is up to the government which rights they adopt.

MangoMoon · 24/06/2016 07:14

We're not 'cut off' from Europe.

Jesus fucking Christ.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 07:14

many many more want our education systems so thats not a worry.

green18 · 24/06/2016 07:15

Have faith in Britain.

SpiceLinerandHoneyLove · 24/06/2016 07:16

Oh God the teeth gnashing and wailing has begun. I knew MN would be hilarious this morning.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 07:16

stay the fuck in your own country now, make it great, there no war in europe as far as i know

Kimononono · 24/06/2016 07:16

Why won't out children be able to work or study in the EU when our children already study and work in non eu countries?

Stop with the hysteria

TheImprobableGirl · 24/06/2016 07:16

I voted leave.

I think that the economy in the uk is far too stretched. Personally I would rather more say in the trade deals, more flexibility and fluidity in having a say in our own decisions.

The NHS does play a part, our resources are overstretched - there is no doubt about that. I think we should have at least more control in where we prioritise our pound. I am not saying to blindly plug it all into hospitals and cast out all the forriners.

I am no racist, but more say in the control of our borders- particularly in light of the new joiners coming through the EU, was a part of my vote- I don't think the laws on deportation and arrival to our country should ultimately lie with any other body but ours.

I am really excited to see new global trade links open up, and for the UK to be able to choose deals, rather than get them thrust at us.

I am excited for change, excited for the future and will weather the storm (ie the economy being considerably knocked) in order to make the best possible decision for younger generations

fastdaytears · 24/06/2016 07:16

Peppatina

There will be no NHS. Boris's plans are not difficult to figure out. Most of MN will have private medical insurance, but not the people saying they have nothing left to lose. I'm not worried about me or my family but I believe in the NHS and I'll miss it when it's gone.

I do not think you're a racist. It is unfortunate that the first leave poster on this thread set a less than great tone, but I don't think anyone believes that ShariaMom represents you or a large chunk of the leave voters. Luckily.

teafortoads · 24/06/2016 07:17

Dave the Dastardly had his opportunity to re negotiate the terms of our EU membership and arrogantly barely even bothered to try to change anything. I don't think he did himself or the remain voters any favours at all. Many people have had enough of being powerless/lied to/sneered at (and called thick or racist/thick and racist). Why do people who voted to leave have to be labelled anything? Some people are just pig sick of grovelling and scraping for every penny, living a miserable hand to mouth or credit to mouth existence and are desperate for change and therefor prepared to gamble the future as for many things literally can't get any worse.

Kimononono · 24/06/2016 07:18

The NHS is already being sold underneath us and has been for years!!! Where have you been? Private firms already own a chunk of itvand that's under the EU!

twittwooery · 24/06/2016 07:18

LOL Peppatini with what extra money? Farage has already admitted him and the leave campaign LIED to you...just like every expert told you but hey...

Peppatina · 24/06/2016 07:19

To be honest I got the impression Shariamum wasn't entirely genuine...

I do believe there will still be an NHS, if I'm wrong you can berate me later Grin

If I don't like what Boris does (highly likely) then I can vote him out.

SquidgeyMidgey · 24/06/2016 07:19

My family barely made it through the last recession, we are just back on our feet financially. I'm hoping above all else we don't get another one right now but seeing the way sterling has nosedived overnight I'm terrified. I really can't believe this has happened, I thought Remain would come through.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 07:20

lets stop the racist thing. I live in and love my country as I'm sure you do, I'm pretty sick of people telling me that they were worried about he referrendum due to building a house back where they came.

Shariamom · 24/06/2016 07:20

Virtually everyone I know thinks the same as me. I struggled to find amy white brits in my area who said they were voting remain.
We will all look back on this day with great pride, the day we got our country and our borders back
