Had more stuff done to his face!! Today. Without telling me beforehand, because he knows how much I hate it. Then gets all offended when I won't go out with him to watch the footie because I'm scared we'll meet somebody we know and he looks like a laughing stock.

I'm happy, gives me a good excuse not to engage with the idiot.

Why the hell are you still him? You can't stand him!

PacificDogwod · 16/06/2016 18:00

Secret cosmetic procedures? Really?

How odd.
Is he well otherwise?

Fairenuff · 16/06/2016 18:10

I think this one is a bit too 'try hard' OP.

BeverlyGoldberg · 16/06/2016 18:16

Confused

well that's not really enough to go on, is it? What's the point of threads like this?

WeekendAway · 16/06/2016 18:21

But if he's had tattoos all over his face and looks like a twat then just leave him. He knows you hate them, he's obviously had them before and has had more in spite of knowing that you hate them. So leave. He clearly doesn't respect or value your opinion or care about whether you find him attractive.

Mooingcow · 16/06/2016 18:22

I think we need a photo.

Or ten.

WeekendAway · 16/06/2016 18:24

Aaah. Advance search is our friend here. He's having a mid life crisis and cosmetic procedures to look younger.

Well in that case I think YABU because how bad can he look? People won't stare. Whether you preferred him before or not, he clearly is suffering self esteem issues from ageing and if doing this makes him happier then I think you should respect that.

Until he starts to look like Joan Rivers.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 16/06/2016 18:24

Yet another thread where the OP posts something a bit vague and a bit unpleasant and then disappears, with no further detail.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 16/06/2016 18:25

So we don't actually know what he's done yet, for all we know, he might get a new nose every six months or look like Cassandra off Doctor Who.

KissMyArse · 16/06/2016 18:26

Is this him OP?

PortiaCastis · 16/06/2016 18:26

Jeez

BarryTheKestrel · 16/06/2016 18:27

If you really don't agree with it, like you have previously posted, leave him.

It's up to him what he does to his body but if you don't like it nothing is making you stay.

Beeziekn33ze · 16/06/2016 18:40

There are holes in this Mums-net thread, come on, OP, we're all agog!

PaulDacreCuntyMcCuntFace · 16/06/2016 18:40

You've posted about this before OP.

You've had advice, sympathy and support. You know that he is unlikely to change. You are unhappy with him having all of these procedures. Nothing is changing; what are you going to do?

WorraLiberty · 16/06/2016 18:42

Nothing is changing; what are you going to do?

Start vague and annoying threads on the internet and then piss off? Grin

Funny!

SeasonalVag · 16/06/2016 19:11

Op. You in 2013 'I want a divorce'....you last year 'should have left him years ago'....you today 'I want to leave'....so that's at least three years of your life you've wasted on being miserable. My mum did the same, she hummed and hawed...for ten years. Please put down your iPad and actively make steps to leave. You're wasting your life being unhappy.

NeedACleverNN · 16/06/2016 19:22

Well obviously things are changing....

His face. Which is what the OP is complaining about!

It's Cosmo Ken!

YouTheCat · 16/06/2016 19:27

Just leave him!

It might surprise him but at least you won't be able to tell. Grin

jay55 · 16/06/2016 19:47

Are you dating Cliff Richard?

cushion53 · 16/06/2016 20:09

I have this idea about men, they should be rugged, good at diy, sporty, tough, manly, not concerned with their appearance to the point where they use HAIRSPRAY and baby lotion every day and take longer to get ready to go out than I do. I married an idiot but he's also a dad, we don't live in the UK and, frankly. it's complicated. If your husband did cosmetic surgery how would you feel???
