Make me cringe

Mind you Dh's expression of 'I suppose a shags out of the question' really isn't much better!

LadyIncuntliaButtock · 14/06/2016 20:42

But think porking is the worst term ever.

Grin I remember one teacher doing a sex ed lesson, asking the class for a list of terms and porking was first.

Ah, bless. It's also where I first heard the term "diddy ride" - now that's awful!

baba5 · 14/06/2016 20:44

Diddy ride???

BananaChew · 14/06/2016 20:47

Bang. I'm going to bang you. Fancy a bang?

Hate 'making love'. Sex of the quieter, slow variety is just sex. Anything more energetic is a bang.

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 14/06/2016 20:48

Agreed. It's absolutely hideous. My current partner said it when I met him...he doesn't anymore.....It honestly changed the way I thought about him. What are you? A 15 year old Bronte character?!!!? No?! Then it's not appropriate.

UmbongoUnchained · 14/06/2016 20:49

You could "make sex" like my lovely foreign husband.
Or "make fucks" when he's feeling particularly naughty.

I prefer a good old fashioned boning personally.

Frogonalog16 · 14/06/2016 21:06

We use 'sexy time' Grin

VeryBitchyRestingFace · 14/06/2016 21:09

We use 'sexy time'

I talk about my budgies having 'sexy time'. Blush

Tessykins · 14/06/2016 21:14

What about a good ol' Irish ride 😀😀

BonnieF · 14/06/2016 21:21

Fun Lovin' Criminals put it best :

"You and me baby, we ain't nothing but mammals, so let's do it like they do on the Discovery channel."

DeathByMascara · 14/06/2016 21:22

I can't actually think what term DH and I use. But I can't abide 'making love', it makes me cringe so much I get cramp in my neck.

Disclaimer - I was seduced by a friend's uncle as a teenager (he was in his late 30s) and he told me he wanted to make love to me. Always felt a bit dirty about that, the phrase instantly makes me think of him.

DeathByMascara · 14/06/2016 21:23

BonnieF - that was the bloodhound gang!

Hockeydude · 14/06/2016 21:26

Making love just sounds wrong. If dh asked me to make love, the answer would be no, never.

BonnieF · 14/06/2016 21:34

Oops...

Am Pop Quiz numpty!

LadySilvia · 14/06/2016 21:37

I do have a fondness for 'I want to climb you like a tree' (and tall men!). Grin

Solina · 14/06/2016 21:57

Yeah the "making love" is bit OTT and just eww...
Me and OH bang. Although just saying sex is fine too.
I quite like the word shag but have never used it myself... maybe I will suggest a shag to him and see what happens Grin

simiisme · 14/06/2016 22:13

Slap and tickle?
Nookie?
Bonking?

Twinkleheth · 14/06/2016 22:15

DH usually says, 'Do you want to...' Or 'I want you..' which I like better ☺️ I didn't think I was very prudish at all, but I'm cringing much more at some of the other expressions used on this thread. I can't use the phrase 'make love' without putting on a 1930s English accent (I'm Scottish, DH is English). I actually don't think I talk about sex very much at all now, unless it's with my teenage daughters - but if I was, I would say sex

NoMudNoLotus · 14/06/2016 22:20

"Fucking" is horrid. Just horrid

RequestInUse · 14/06/2016 22:55

Tis a bit cringy.

"Let's play hide the sausage" makes me want to scrub my brain!!!

PalaceResident · 14/06/2016 22:59

DH and I refer to getting taken "I'm going to take you tonight" "I think you should take me later". Making love is outdated and slimy!

KateLivesInEngland · 14/06/2016 23:13

Euurrrgggh at Bonking!

Cineraria · 14/06/2016 23:17

For some time after our wedding, our standard phase was "shall we come together in the delight and tenderness of sexual union?" after the words of the wedding service. I guess it was a bit of a joke as we'd both been worried about giggling during the service when the vicar started talking about sex in church on a day when we'd be feeling nervous anyway but it still reminded me of the wedding day and made me feel soppy, which was nice. Our standard response was to look like it was a bit of a chore and say "It'd be sinful not to, I suppose."

Currently it's "Fancy making DS a little brother or sister?"

Onedaftmonkey · 14/06/2016 23:43

Mine usually winks at me and says in a very stupid voice
" hay. You and me we go_ bouncy bouncy"
I love it. Brings humor in.
Making love is for the movies and cheese songs.

Sex should be spontaneous and fun.

Onedaftmonkey · 14/06/2016 23:43

That's cheesey
