...how tidy is your house right now?

Are you relaxing on the sofa about to watch Gogglebox with a glass of wine, or are you getting a last load of washing on while clearing up the remains of dinner and picking up toys?

I'm somewhere in between, having just finished in the kitchen (delegated ds2's bedtime to DD) and sort of pottering picking up bits as I see them. It's not a midden but I'd probably still be uncomfortable if we had surprise visitors.

What's it like at your gaff? And AIBU to sit down now?

DD is STILL not in bed. World class procrastination going on here.

Oh and I love Gogglebox but DH hates it.

None of mine are asleep. But they are at least upstairs.

Both in bed, 1 asleep.

House is lovely and clean but then I don't work Fridays.

Wine poured.

I'e been out al day so house is far from spotless. I can't see the mess for the gloom, though. It's raining and no one CBA to put the light on.
Towels in the dryer. Figured I needed to wash something today and try not to let it get overwhelming again.
DH snoozing in armchair, despite saying he was going to try to stay awake, this evening.
One child crashing around upstairs, supposedly getting off to sleep.
Other chilled out in the corner of the sofa with a magazine and his MP3 player.
I am about to go pour a glass of vin de plonk. Ironing needs doing, but I'm too tired to be safe. I can't see the pile, anyhow.

Pretty tidy! Pile of clean clothes to my right waiting to be folded and a load in the dryer, both of which I am ignoring :) just finished a tub of phish food and will wash it down with a g & t (for 't' read Lidl flavoured sparkling water). Everything else can sod right off (until the morning)

DH is out gigging tonight so I have a reprieve on the football, thank god.

Ds1 has just come down to watch Gogglebox, which is excellent as he can bring me drinks. I have the dog on my lap.

House is a complete tip - will tidy up toys/lounge & sort the washing tonight but the rest can wait for tomorrow - I'm knackered!

Toddler in bed, DH out golfing and I've just settled down to Googlebox. House pretty tidy as I worked at home today and had a bit of time before nursery pick up to sort shit out. Might go to bed soon though as DS wakes at 5am at the moment

Both asleep and i'm watching Gogglebox whilst trying to decide whether to have wine on cider:) House is semi tidy (as it is NEVER perfectly tidy with 2 dc!), i usually tidy most up whilst they are still asleep so that i can have the most of my evening.

I'm going to try and stay up until DH gets in (should be just after midnight) as we have a standing date every Friday and I don't want to miss out.

Pretty tidy here but we're hosting a family party on Sunday so have been trying to keep on top of it all week. It needs cleaning (dusting, hoovering) but no there is no crap lying around! Garden looking good too as I cut the grass after feeding the DC tea.

Feeling virtuous as did exercise DVD while adult meal cooked so now off to bed with my Kindle and cuppa, DH watching some Scandi drama.

DP went away this morning to watch some of the euros. I blitzed the house before work and am now chilling with footner on, wine in hand watching all the trashy programmes I have built up on the sky+ box. Both kids asleep too!! Absolute bliss!!!

Child is on her phone with headphones on. Husband and I are watching Burn Notice. Airbnb fella is upstairs watching some football thing or other on his laptop. House is clean and mostly tidy. Off to bed for me shortly as I'm working tomorrow. Never seen Gogglebox - don't know what it is.

House very tidy, although there's a pile of stuff to go in the loft, deliberately left very obviously mid landing, DH has successfully ignored it all day. I'm going to polish and find homes for anything that is normally draped over the backs of chairs tomorrow and thoroughly clean the bathroom. The place is being valued next week.

Weeeeell, I washed up after me and kids ate, then dh came in and cooked pizza, so bollocks to cleaning that.

House is a tip. I have drunk my only gin. DH is watching the bloody football. I have to get up at 6am to do overtime.

Amazon now brought me wine when I decided I fancied a glass at 4 pm so the house can stay a pig sty, the washing can kiss my arse and the child is sleeping. I'm enjoying a nice glass of white while watching limitless having just enjoyed Chinese takeaway :)
