To think three is the proper amount of biscuits to have?

Dh has just taken the biscuit tin away from me as I reached for a third. He says two biscuits is the normal quota and three would be greedy. I say three biscuits minimum is the correct amount to have with your coffee.

I'm right, aren't I? AIBU?

Has to be an add number and one is never enough!

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 28/05/2016 18:21

I agree with you op. The first one hardly counts as you're just getting into it!!

Shannyfanny · 28/05/2016 18:21

i usually have 3-5

StealthPolarBear · 28/05/2016 18:21

Giant cookies - 1
Ginger nuts or rich tea fingers - at least 4

TheDuchyOfGrandFenwick · 28/05/2016 18:21

It depends entirely on where you are in your cycle.

GeorgeTheThird · 28/05/2016 18:24

Blimey. I think three is greedy. One or two. Sorry.

Bloodybridget · 28/05/2016 18:26

Three is greedy! But in the case of plain chocolate Choco Leibniz, unavoidable.

GooodMythicalMorning · 28/05/2016 18:26

Until the packet is empty Blush

DuvetDayEveryday · 28/05/2016 18:27

We're talking Bourbons here. They're not big, so three is about right.

mumtomaxwell · 28/05/2016 18:27

Half a packet is about right Smile

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 28/05/2016 18:27

3 (or 5 if we're talking Maryland Chocolate Chip) is the correct answer.

2 is just nonononono. It is not aesthetically pleasing and only a philistine would take 2.

WorraLiberty · 28/05/2016 18:28

I'm not really a biscuit eater but I think 2 or 3 is probably a decent amount.

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/05/2016 18:30

Bourbons? None is the current number. Chocolate Hobnobs? How many are in a packet?

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 28/05/2016 18:31

I'm not a biscuit lover, so two is fine for me. Three would seem a bit much to me to be honest. Sorry OP Grin

Amy214 · 28/05/2016 18:31

I normally eat 1 maybe 2 if im eating them without a cup of tea but if theres tea involved then i can eat about 6 digestives Blush love dunking them in my tea

EastMidsMummy · 28/05/2016 18:32

Three is the right number.

someonestolemynick · 28/05/2016 18:33

3 is excessive... If we are talking packsGrin

notamummy10 · 28/05/2016 18:33

I've been known to eat an entire pack in one sitting... It does depend on the biscuit though, I wouldn't eat an entire pack of digestives but I definitely would if it was Jaffa cakes, custard/bourbon creams and chocolate fingers!

BluebellTheDonkey · 28/05/2016 18:34

2 seems sensible. But I don't usually stop at 2 Grin
Where I work (school), everyone has 1 at break time in the staffroom and I have to stop myself reaching for more.

TenWineBottles · 28/05/2016 18:34

It depends on the biscuit surely?

2x rich tea and other boring offerings

3x normal biscuits eg. bourbons/custard creams/ginger snaps

A few extra full packet of the good stuff like jaffa cakes/jammy dodgers Grin

MitzyLeFrouf · 28/05/2016 18:35

Two is the proper number to accompany a hot beverage.

Three biscuits is debauchery and is only one or two steps away from swinging from the chandeliers with Bob from no.87. Be careful OP.

leelu66 · 28/05/2016 18:36

I can polish off a pack of Fox's Viennese easily.

3 is more than reasonable. Help yourself to another while he is distracted.
