AIBU to want to leave a poo on the windscreen of knobheads without children who park in parent and child spaces?

It can be any sized poo.

Bastards do you have reading comprehension problems? I'm not intentionally bashing in doors. If it happens, it happens as a result of struggling to get my son out.

I had my first child before Parent and Child spaces were a thing, thankfully by the time the next 2 came along there were a few. DH also has a blue badge so I see it from both sides. I have on occasion parked in a P&C space if all disabled ones are taken because DH cannot get out of the car without the doors wide, or walk any real distance. But I would never dream of parking in one on my own, or with my 14 year old because I appreciate them. I would have happily parked the other end of the car park if it meant wider spaces and a safe passage to the store. My local Tesco has this just right: disabled are right outside the doors, P&C stretch all along the far side so there is a safe traffic free walkway through to the shop itself.

As for all of the 'we never had them get over yourself' arguments - we never had seatbelts, or car seats, or drink driving laws but I bet you wouldn't want to be without those now. A little consideration for others goes a long way.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 18:50

bastards I'm sorry but who the hell do you think you are telling me to "buck my ideas up"? How rude.

You have never met me or my DS. He's on the 99.7 I think it is (the top one) for height and similar for weight. Even my HV commented she's never met a baby as strong as my DS. He was rolling from birth.

So, politely pipe the fuck down.

Thank you. Nice to see someone with a bit of thought for others.

You could get a Blue Badge form and see if your dad qualifies. Each council has slightly different criteria but your dad doesn't need to use a stick to be able to get one. It's about how far he can walk without stopping and many councils make allowances for good days and bad days. There are other criteria like balance problems in many areas.

beetroot2 · 20/05/2016 18:53

I'd like a bigger space because supermarkets these days make the spaces smaller to pack em in. I'd like to park nearer due to having two bunions and one corn - have you any idea how painful they are Grin in fact, I'm going to write to sainsburys right now!

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 20/05/2016 18:53

That street goes in both directions, Future. If you have consideration for others, they will for you.

I nearly said, 'that door swings both ways'.. and thought better of it! Grin

OK then bastards as you have spectacularly missed the point - what about smoking in cars with kids in? Thats a relatively new rule. My main point being, new things are brought in as an advancement. Rude, obnoxious, entitled people will still exist but small changes can make life that little bit less challenging when dealing with them

LittleMissBossyBoots · 20/05/2016 18:59

I remember when these spaces first appeared. At the supermarket near me it started with a row of spaces for elderly shoppers next to the disabled spaces. Six months later the elderly people signs came down and up went the mother and child signs (as they were back then). Fast forward 20 years and all the spaces are now parent and child spaces, including those which were disabled spaces. The disabled spaces are now half a dozen rows back from the door.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:00

I agree all spaces should be bigger, spaces are shit. However when there's a limited amount of large spaces they should go to the disabled and anyone else who needs an accessible SOACE.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:00

Space. Autocorrect.

I see the reverse on here Siencyn. I see more wailers than I care to mention Grin Being direct in stating that, isn't rude at all.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:02

bastards that person isn't saying you smoke. They're saying there is a new law to prevent people smoking in cars. Someone may complain someone breaks the law and smokes in a car with a child. People may say "well we smoked in cars and it was fine, what's the problem?!" Instead of accepting new advancements.

You seem to keep missing the point.

I think they should be renamed "easy access spaces for those in need"

Then no one can argue with that!

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:03

bastards Anyone with mobility issues or who needs extra space. So yes, your mother did need that space. I have never said she didn't.

I have said piss takers are annoying.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:03

No one has said they are a law! It's a comparison talking about new advancements Jesus how are you this obtuse.

FutureGadgetsLab · 20/05/2016 19:04

Some I'm in favour of that.

Oh dear bastards I should have placed money on you saying that. And my apologies, I forgot it was only law in Wales.

I am happier knowing that if my DGD is given a lift by a friend then she will not be submitted to that passive smoke. I don't and never have smoked but it doesn't stop it having an effect on me. You see that appears to be the difference. Your sense of entitlement supersedes anyone else's wants or needs. You want to park in a wide space that's close so bollocks to anyone else who may just be grateful for it. It's there so take it. You are a fine example of what is wrong with communities today. I despair.
