LyingWitch - I'm new here so I actually didn't realise it was a contentious issue. I thought it annoyed all parents (marginally, not as a massively big deal). As someone said up thread they've never met anyone in real life who thought it was okay to park in them without children. Neither have I. Anyway, I've asked for it to be deleted. Sorry all.

Ffion, there could just as easily be no space for you because they are taken up with people with children with them.

MiddleClassProblem · 20/05/2016 16:55

I think Asda say they fine for it so watch it if you do sneak in

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 20/05/2016 16:57

There's no reason for the thread to be deleted, OP, it's just a very well-worn topic on a contentious area of the site. Funny how newbies always manage to find it!

Anyway, don't take it to heart, definitely, keep your poo to yourself and keep posting. :)

These days some Mummies are very precious.
In my day (not that long ago) we just went shopping.

Ffion3107 · 20/05/2016 16:59

Yes you're right LyingWitch. However, I was talking about the people without children. The ones I see coming into their car while I wait for a space to become available.

Samcro · 20/05/2016 17:00

lets just mention non visible disabilities.....ok done

PaulDacresMicroPenis · 20/05/2016 17:01

Love the gif Wagglebees gonna pinch that Grin

Oysterbabe · 20/05/2016 17:02

Don't worry about it Monkey. When it comes to some issues Mumsnet is a strange place, this is one such issue.

sweetkitty · 20/05/2016 17:02

I want to leave poo on the cars of dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs, the ones who think it's ok to drive to a park open their car door dog jumps out does a poo, called back in and away they drive!

Ffion3107 · 20/05/2016 17:06

Let's just mention that OP was clearly talking about the able-bodied

Onlyicanclean10 · 20/05/2016 17:07

Cat poo blinding children
Breastfeeding in public and told off
Pushchairs in disabled bays on buses,

All mumsnet favourites op.

Today I parked in one and my youngest is 17. Had my disabled and altzimers mom with me and she needed it far more than a person who just happens to have young children.

If you approached me with poo you would have it smeared In your face love. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 20/05/2016 17:10

Yep other 'hot' topics to watch-

Cat poo in the garden
Dogs off leads
Shoes on or off in the house
Reclining aeroplane seats

sue51 · 20/05/2016 17:11

YABU. Get rid of P and C spaces. Less stress all round.

DuckAndPancakes · 20/05/2016 17:11

I like making comments about invisible children.

MiddleClassProblem · 20/05/2016 17:12

Hope you have a disabled bags for your mum. Their spaces are normally more free and even closer! She's entitled to one

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/05/2016 17:13

A joke. Good God don't swear. You're not allowed to joke around here.
I think you all know, op. Is not going to physically pick up shit and rub it on someone's car.

TheVillagePost · 20/05/2016 17:14

Yanbu. I loathe people who do this, especially the bloody old people at Aldi who use them cos they're marginally closer. It does t happen at Asda cos they're tucked away, demonstrating that its the space either side for buggy unloading that we need, it doesn't matter where they are. All shops should put them further away to prevent lazy old selfish arseholes using them.

blueturtle6 · 20/05/2016 17:15

Went to wicked today they only had van parking spots, no parent and child Shock

blueturtle6 · 20/05/2016 17:15

Wickes not wicked

Onlyicanclean10 · 20/05/2016 17:17

Yes middle but can I get it for my car for when she's with me?

Obviously wouldn't dream of parking in disabled space when she is in respite.

HeresashatinaboxpAt · 20/05/2016 17:17

Saw someone park in the last one today in a two seater sports car... Bit annoyed as couldn't find space to get babies car seat out... So I get ya... Clearly not much we can do but give evils and drive about ten million times til the next one is avaible
