It is true OP, but this particular forum is brutal and I think that most people know that about aibu (hence the large amount of mnetters who hang out here, watching the carnage).

I think sometimes a newbie wonders in without knowing and it can be pretty horrible watching people jump all over them. This is certainly not the place to come for hand holding (there are loads of lovely places on mumsnet for that) but you do get honesty without the sugar coating.
