Just that, really!

I used to do my hair and make up and feel pretty good about how I looked. Now, after two children and no sleep for 3 years I look shit whatever I do Sad

Will it ever come back?

I looked dreadful after four years of no sleep and two pregnancies. Haggard, dull, overweight from the constant hunger that goes with sleep dep, unflattering clothes because I couldn't think straight, lank hair. I got myself back when the youngest was about three. I think of my poor great-grandmothers and their huge families sucking the life out of them.

Nah I still have supermodel looks Wink.

It really hasn't affected me much in that sense in all seriousness. I still make an effort. It takes me about ten minutes in the morning...

I do my make up while the kids are eating their breakfast, I've only started wearing make-up in the last 6 months :) I have a 3yo and a 1yo.
I'm "bigger" than I used to be and I have a lot of stretch marks and wobbles but I feel fantastic and love my body. My daughter tells me she loves my "tiger stripes"

I got it back when dd2 was younger and had it till she was 2.5 but have lost it to fat, stress and dh snoring.

Im trying to get it back again and was following the transform yourself thread on style and beauty but after years of neglect, its tough and im rough.

Saying that nobody else feels it about me always saying how good i look, but i know about the disgusting hidden feet, the boring no time bun and the unkempt nails. I know i can look better if i just put a bit of effort into it again and slept more.

So more accurate for me to say being lazy, watching programs till early hours, dh snoring and stress and fat stole my pretty.

My dds stole my ambition (which i happily dont want back and my time (which im happy to give to them as they are the best thing in my life and the most loved). Boak but true.

I really love the lingo "steal your pretty"! Some idiomatic slang I adore.

I really didn't have any sleepless nights unless my son was ill. I co-slept and breast fed for years and I honestly slept great!!! I didn't have time or money to put much effort into my appearance but I felt ok.

Years later .... the picture slightly different as health problems and stress have affected my appearance somewhat, mainly the weight issue.
