AIBU to postpone my job interview?

I have a job interview tomorrow morning at 9.30am. It's the third and final interview and I think I am the only candidate they are seeing.

The job sounds amazing and I really want it. DP recently unemplyed so we really need the money too.

BUT today I have come down with a horrendous stomach bug. DP and DC both had it recently and it lasted a few days. I thought I had escaped it but clearly not.

WIBU to give the recruitment consultant a heads up and say I may need to postpone?

DP says to dose up on immodium and force myself to go as it would make a bad impression to postpone. I think it is better to postpone than run out to the loo half way through the interview.

Advice please?!

I'm out! I managed to hold it together even with terrible stomach cramps and dodgy tunmy rumbling sounds which they very politely ignored. I think it went pretty well all things considered and I should hear by the end of the day. Thank you so much for the support and messages they have really made me smile

I'm currently suffering with a horrendous tummy bug and have hardly moved off the sofa accept to shove the occasional snack at DD who is being babysat by Cbeebies I can't imagine having to do a job interview feeling like this. Hope it pays off for you.

But your recruitment consultant should be ashamed of herself. I would never put the guilts on a sick candidate to attend an interview like that. I bet if you had called the company directly they would have tried to make other arrangements for you.
