AIBU to postpone my job interview?

I have a job interview tomorrow morning at 9.30am. It's the third and final interview and I think I am the only candidate they are seeing.

The job sounds amazing and I really want it. DP recently unemplyed so we really need the money too.

BUT today I have come down with a horrendous stomach bug. DP and DC both had it recently and it lasted a few days. I thought I had escaped it but clearly not.

WIBU to give the recruitment consultant a heads up and say I may need to postpone?

DP says to dose up on immodium and force myself to go as it would make a bad impression to postpone. I think it is better to postpone than run out to the loo half way through the interview.

Advice please?!

Have the dry toast OP if you are able to stomach it, if you allow acid to build up in your tummy it will make you feel 100 times worse! And best of luck Flowers

Hope all goes well. I once interviewed for a teaching post at 9am (including being observed teaching) when I'd been up with a stomach bug all night. I got the job! The adrenalin will hopefully see you through. Flowers

If you are on your 3rd interview, hopefully they will give you some slack and be understanding that you are not at your best today.

1 hour to go! The Imodium has kicked in. Ok worst case scenario I throw up in the interview ... At least I will never have to see them again.

Thanks again for all the messages of support. I haven't told anyone in RL about the job (except DP) in case I don't get it so it's nice to be able to talk about it!
