S'okay. My mum once said her & dad were off 'for a good felch in the woods'. She thought it meant ramble round......

Thank you OP. You've made a terrible few days somehow not so bad. I haven't laughed so much in ages. Thank you xx

Oh no, I am old, I hadn't caught on! And apparently the songs cake by the ocean and work from home are not about came or working either!

I feed the ponies (literally, I have ponies) regularly, I don't think anyone has ever sniggered about me saying that.

My DM didn't know what a golden shower was until we were old enough not to die with embarrassment telling her. Every bonfire night she'd say 'I just love golden showers, they are my favourite' Shock
She also didn't know a blow job was called a blowjob until we told her, then she said asked why would she know that, it doesn't make sense because you don't blow Blush

My mum once announced that she and step dad were taking my brother dogging.

The original, it presumably means shagging David Cameron.

In other news, DS has reliably informed me that our male rabbit, instead of being cute and nuzzley as he rests his nose in our lady rabbit's proto-dewlap, is probably doing a rabbit version of 'motor boating'. I have had to look that up as well. Shock at what I found.

Feelingsolow12345 · 03/05/2016 17:50

omg I had to Google it to find out what it meant haha xD I feel stupid.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 03/05/2016 17:59

Jeez! since when! I have been saying this for ages! I was of course just relaxing in front of the TV! bloody hell!

Mizzworthy1 · 04/05/2016 12:25

Only because my younger sister explained it to me... I thought it just meant watch Netflix and relax with wine/chocolate/whatever...

LiquoriceAllsorts86 · 04/05/2016 15:39

When using this phrase whilst talking to my 18yo DS he raised an eyebrow and asked me if I knew what it meant. When I replied 'Of course I do!' he said 'fair enough' and left me to carry on in ignorance. He does have a sadistic streak though Sad
