TwatbadgingCuntfuckery · 27/04/2016 22:13

I went with my favourite insult. BuggerationAndFuckery is still available...

Tbh I am not surprised social media is trawled for articles. Its cheaper than employing a decent journalist to go out and gather all the quotes, opinions etc that we provide on here for free.

shazzarooney99 · 27/04/2016 22:14

Hmmmmmmmm can anyone tellme how that fucker has done that with my name???? whereis the spelling mistake?or have they nicked my password???? looks like i was a bitclose to the truth there!"!!!!!!!!

MarthaCuntyMcCuntFace · 27/04/2016 22:14

Martha how many sleeping pills do you have to pop to get a good nights sleep.

shazzarooney99 · 27/04/2016 22:15

MarthaCliffYouCunt · 27/04/2016 22:16

cuntymailjournos · 27/04/2016 22:16

Aw where is Fugg? have you sorted nc yet?
Ask them for a new password, click on the link and choose a new one ffs.

dailyfailureismyname · 27/04/2016 22:17

Just to clarify, I don't think I have a particularly strong confirmation bias, nor do I think I am important at all, I name change because I don't want to be outed. MN is the only real "safe" space that I can vent and i don't want to jeopardize that.

I do sort of roll my eyes at the people who start threads with "this will totally out me, but....I was in town today with dc buying a bag of potatoes..." and then a very monotonous, everyday event occurred that most people wouldn't even remember happening to themselves, let alone identifying someone else!

DontFeedTheDailyFail · 27/04/2016 22:18

Its so hard choosing a new username. I get kind of fond of the anonymity of my names and feel a sadness at their passing.

shazzarooney99 · 27/04/2016 22:19

MarthaCliffYouCunt, nothing ive just lost the plot!!! lmao

shazzarooney99 · 27/04/2016 22:21

DontFeedTheDailyFail, wouldnt have a clue to begin a new username! ive only just managed to see previous posts from aposter and am not even sure ive got that right lol

MarthaCliffYouCunt · 27/04/2016 22:22
Confused
MatthewWrightResearch · 27/04/2016 22:23

I've name changed recently after threads were discussed on The Wright Stuff and Loose Women in one week. I read back my old posts and realised if someone thought they might reconise me then a quick check and I've revealed my DC's ages, photos of my dog's, 2 Dc's names and the area I stay! I didn't even realise I gave away so much info...I'm going to be vague from now on.

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine · 27/04/2016 22:23

I don't name change often, but I had to go for a twofer, tonight.

DontFeedTheDailyFail · 27/04/2016 22:25

To change names you go to my mumsnet, then my account and just type a new username in the username box.

You need to enter your password to save the change and its done.

StrapOnDodo · 27/04/2016 22:25

I suspect they don't just trawl threads but start them with the aim of getting material.

I think a total boycott is the way to go and of anything they are advertising.

There's an obvious flaw there because we won't know what they're advertising without looking.

Reading the DM in the morning is the mental equivalent of showering in shit.

WhatTheActualFugg · 27/04/2016 22:27

Yes cunty I'm still here. And no I haven't nc yet.

I couldn't work out how to get the new password. No need to ffs me!

I have asked MNHQ.

Is it just me or do we all sound a bit drunk / insane?

MUMSNET MUMMIES SO DRUNK THEY CAN'T TALK STRAIGHT

MarthaCuntyMcCuntFace · 27/04/2016 22:30

Thing is ,some threads are just car crashes. Problem with having such a big user base. You can't control it. They don't have to trawl anything either, just look at the discussions of the day really.

notamummy10 · 27/04/2016 22:30

Considering you don't need to be a member to view these forums, I guess that's obvious. But at the same time, even if the forum was private it's still on the internet which is a public domain!

shazzarooney99 · 27/04/2016 22:33

StrapOnDodo, i suspect your right, i mentioned this a couple of days ago because it was the first of 2nd time the op or supposed op was on, and quite a bit of time after the death, now i could be utterly wrong and if i am i will apologise, but the story was so out there that i searched the ops username which i had to learn to do, on doing a bit of further digging i found that there were 2 children of that name that had died, but none that age and then when the story in the daily fail came out it led me to wonder if the journalist was actually the original poster looking for a story actually making the story up for a bit of news.

KatieHopkinsAteMyHamster99 · 27/04/2016 22:33

...and this thread is trending now so all the Failed "journos" will be tuning in no doubt...

DeadAsADildo · 27/04/2016 22:35

I've name changed just now as I hadn't realised one of my threads had been in the fail until this thread. I had tweaked the children's ages but still it could well have been picked up by someone I knew.

MarthaCliffYouCunt · 27/04/2016 22:35

Oh theyre all so lazy!

Did they really all grow up dreaming of being award winning journalists.... by copy and pasting? Confused its so embarrassing for them. How cant they be proud of that 'work'?

dailyfailureismyname · 27/04/2016 22:35

The Z sleb was alerted of the thread about her by another MNetter (who messaged her with a link to the thread) so it isn't just "outside" forces.

MarthaCliffYouCunt · 27/04/2016 22:37

Dying to know who the Z lister is.
