To wonder why some celebs (not mentioning any names --Natasha Hamilton-- seem to swap partners more often than I swap handbags?

Why is it though? Somebody like Natasha Hamilton appears to have a good life and her head screwed on. She's had a reasonably successful career, must have money of her own, is still young, pretty and in good shape. But apparently she has split with Richie Neville - who she decided to have a baby with after knowing him for nano-seconds.

Yes it's NOMB - but she kind of makes it my/our business by giving interviews every five seconds about the latest development - and in bored moments I can't help wondering how and why anybody can live in a real life soap opera 24 hours a day.

YANBU. I bet the editor of OK magazine called her up every month or so to do a photo spread with her latest pregnancy/fiance/husband. I don't even read gossip magazines and I've noticed that this is more or less a constant feature.

I really believe that these celeb type gossip stories are harmful to us as a society. Just don't engage.

I don't know who this woman is, but just to say that I have a dress in my wardrobe that is still going strong having lasted 3 times as long as my 7 year marriage. In my world, clothes and handbags always last longer than relationships!

MrsJayy ok, maybe not literally a nano-second. But they got together in 2014 and have now split up - and have an 18 month old child. Add 18 months to 9 months pregnancy and that doesn't leave much wiggle room...

They make money from it! That's enough tbh. Sure, I wouldn't d it, but it's their way of life and it pays well. I don't judge her for having a baby too soon, loads of people do that. I judge Cheryl whatever for having 3 surnames so far and being on her second divorce. I think that shows poor judgement and an inability to exist without being in relation to a man.

I feel a bit sorry for them that it hasn't worked out TBH.

I don't know these people but I've come to think that celebrity relationships are measured in dog years. As LaConnerie says above, six months to celebs is ten years to people like us.

I think it's true to say a lot of people do this, but she's one of the breeds of celebrity who uses her life to make a living, if I thought I could get 25k to sit with my DD on my lap and have my photo taken, I would do it too!

Yes I think a lot of 'celebs' without a lot of talent to fall back on then find the selling of their lives an easy income stream. They move from one drama to another, making a lot of money from each one. I cant believe anyone sane would deliberately have a child with every random boyfriend just to get paid by a magazine, but the relationship dramas, the marriages, divorces, break ups etc etc may be the only way some of them can make a living. Maybe then, that becomes your reality and 'normal' boring life becomes very boring indeed!

I think you're right guineapigs - I remember years ago watching Holly Willoughby talking to Katie Price following her latest split from somebody, and Holly asked if she didn't think it might be a good idea to stay single for a while, to get her head together and work out what she really needs from a relationship.

Katie just sat there with this look on her face like she couldn't comprehend what Holly could possibly mean. Was quite a sad moment actually.
