Also scone as in stone.
Not scone as in gone.
End of.

FoxSticks · 16/04/2016 22:33

It's odd when people say trolling rhyming with dolling. It should be trolling rolling.

pissedglitter · 16/04/2016 22:34

WTF Troll and doll don't rhyme

ThisWasCrownjewel · 16/04/2016 22:35

Troll rhymes with doll, in my head - not goal or roll.

Yes. I also eat bread rols.

SalemSaberhagen · 16/04/2016 22:37

SaucyJack · 16/04/2016 22:37

"So you go to the supermarket and get a troally do you saucyjack?"

Nope. I get a basket Grin

And that's barsket btw, if anyone wants to have a regional-stereotypes off.

Hold on Paul do you say troll as in lol or troll as in bowl?!

wickedlazy · 16/04/2016 22:40

The way I say it,
Roll, troll and bowl all rhyme.
Doll rhymes with all, ball and wall.

But I can see how Roll and Doll (Dole) can also rhyme :)

bolleauxnouveau · 16/04/2016 22:40

Sandbrook · 16/04/2016 22:41

Treysanatomy · 16/04/2016 22:41

Scone sounds like gone.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 16/04/2016 22:41

OP posts:
NeedACleverNN · 16/04/2016 22:42

But do you say doLL or dole (to rhyme with bowl) need

To me they all sound the same but dole would probably sound like bowl the most

AgentZigzag · 16/04/2016 22:42

'You made something daft into a fight'

Shock

Have I fuckers like.

My lighthearted ribbing of dead posh weirdos (why isn't the i before the e in weirdo?) is on the same level as your ribbing of troll-doll rhyming weirdos.

Unless you're dead posh?

Is that why you're all sad?

Sad for you.

NeedACleverNN · 16/04/2016 22:43

Doll rhymes with all, ball and wall

How does that work? Confused

Doll has an o in it. All, ball and wall are all a

nancy75 · 16/04/2016 22:43

Scone so does not sound like gone! Scone sounds like cone - it's the same word just with an s at the start!

Sandbrook · 16/04/2016 22:44

Doll rhymes with all, ball and wall

On what planet is this then? Grin

nocoolnamesleft · 16/04/2016 22:44

They don't rhyme. Probably because one'sfrom mid 16th century English, and the other derives from old Norse, so originate from rather different languages...
