Is former Labour Minister and SDP politician, Lord David Owen right to think that TTIP will be detrimental to the NHS?

HelpfulChap I agree that the remain side is currently losing the argument. And I don't know what the bloody hell they're playing at. There is so much at stake here. I can see us leaving and then afterwards, when it's too late, people complaining that no one warned them about what could happen.

Daisyonthegreen · 12/04/2016 17:53

Butter muffin.
Oh spare us your patronising nonsense,Mums have eyes to see and ears to hear.
And I can assure you they or at the least the many I know do not like what they see and hear regards the undemocratic EU.

butteredmuffin · 12/04/2016 18:15

Well if they're getting their information from the Daily Express, that's not exactly surprising, is it?

Daisyonthegreen · 12/04/2016 18:24

The letter from NHS staff past and present who are asking the British public to vote LEAVE to save the NHS.

Daisyonthegreen · 12/04/2016 18:27

Butter Muffin
You don't have much respect for Mothers do you?
Mothers have access to all sorts of media, papers and listen to radio, watch TV.

You are patronising.

butteredmuffin · 12/04/2016 18:33

Daisy, that letter has been signed by "more than" 50 people who either work or used to work in the NHS.

The NHS currently employs 1.4 million people.

Are you really trying to say that a letter signed by a group of people representing less than 0.0035% of the NHS payroll is significant?

Love how the remain crowd are patronising and insulting when the attacks mainly come from the other side.

Daisyonthegreen · 12/04/2016 19:23

I was searching for the actual letter,it was on voteleavetakecontrol.org
It is still the letter.

MyHovercraftIsFullOfEels
If the Mums look at the preamble to the letter it says.
"Thousands of NHS workers have signed up to back the VoteLeave NHS campaign but fear Govt so are not publicly named.

lurked101 · 12/04/2016 19:37

Again a vote leave website that make claims but still haa 50 or so signatories. Great posting. Well done.

butteredmuffin · 12/04/2016 19:54

Daisy, stop trying to make yourself the spokesperson for all mum's everywhere. You don't get to speak on behalf of anyone except yourself.

lurked101 · 12/04/2016 20:07

Daisy actually strikes me as a professional poster, lots of "another source or busy mum's to look at" she to readily identifies herself here, funny that.

Oh come on, let's not stoop to their level of conspiracy theorising. I think Daisy is exactly what she claims to be.

lurked101 · 12/04/2016 20:15

Nah.. to many repeats of mum's for my liking. No one who posts on here naturally dose that.

butteredmuffin · 12/04/2016 20:17

Why would the Brexit campaign employ someone so dim?

Daisyonthegreen · 12/04/2016 20:21

Excuse me,this is mumsnet .
I certainly do not speak for all the Mums how could I .
You certainly don't like opinions. You don't like it if it's the Express ,you don't like the Mail you don't like the Telegraph, you don't want any evidence.
I don't think you think a Mum should even challenge you.

butteredmuffin · 12/04/2016 20:25

I don't really understand how being a mum or not being a mum is relevant to the debate. If it helps, my mum is voting to remain. As are lots of other mums I know. And I'm pretty sure I'm not about to become a raging UKIP'er the moment there is a "no vacancies" sign on my uterus.

lurked101 · 12/04/2016 20:29

Again the mum mention like you think it backs up your point. Regular users know that mums, dad's, non parents post here it's one of the busiest talk boards in the uk.

There is plenty of independent evidence supplied yet you need to keep quoting partisan sources.

Oh and we don't like the right wing press because they don't represent a true perspective.

Go on, say we don't want "mums" to know somehing again, you really mean that we counter your opinion with other valid points and it's your defensive action.

People who are criticising me here for being partisan and wanting to Leave are not being realistic.I cannot post positives of the EU when I personally feel there aren't any especially when Democracy and security are involved.
Posters who want to stay In never post negatives of the EU or at least I haven't seen any.
Best to agree to differ.

There has been plenty of acknowledgement of EU failings but nery an acknowledgement of benefits. Your posts are not balanced and contain little analytical merit.
