Because it's always an insult.

But no-one is ever named.

If you do it, what do you mean? Why do you do it?

Does it ever cross your mind that long-standing, non-name-changing posters might be very hurt by your accusations?

If you're going to do it, have the courage of your convictions and name names.

And yes meant satirically, OnYerBike, as it's very playground!

whirlygirly · 03/04/2016 09:30

Threads like this make me cringe. I've been on here for a very long time under various guises but if people ever started to refer to me as mn royalty (no chance) I'd take it as a clear sign I needed to engage with rl a bit more.

I did like cod though Smile

Sparklingbrook · 03/04/2016 09:30

I only have teen DSs so not sure. I will ask them when they wake up if they have any squad goals.

'Chillax' has not been used since 1998 I believe Wink

Sparklingbrook · 03/04/2016 09:32

I hear chillax all the time. That's never said in a nice way either.

OnYerBikePan · 03/04/2016 09:33

There's a simplicity there Honey tho'. I do know that I'm better, so I don't need to be called royalty, nor have an ego the size of an ocean. I just have to possess the wisdom to use my superiority carefully.

OnYerBikePan · 03/04/2016 09:35

As a team leader, I'm going to start using 'squad goals' at work. See how long it takes for me to be pushed down the stairs and have dinner money stolen.Smile

Throwingshadeagain · 03/04/2016 09:36

I was only joshing about 'chillax'. I'm 50 years old, I'm neither young, cool or relevant. But I thought 'squad goals' was a perfect expression for what I was trying to express.

HoneyDragon · 03/04/2016 09:36

Meh, wisdom's over rated and a drag

paxillin · 03/04/2016 09:36

Does that mean I can kill the term 'squad goal' for my kids by announcing family squad goals?

Sparklingbrook · 03/04/2016 09:37

I can't believe I have teens but I am missing out on all the naff phrases.

Throwingshadeagain · 03/04/2016 09:38

Ask your teen if his eyebrows are 'on fleek' Sparkling.

I think the cringey teen speak you want there is 'famalam' usual.

I can ask Throwing, but imagine I will get the look.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 03/04/2016 09:41

I know the 'on fleek ' and 'on point' jargon, I have crap eyebrows.

MardyBra · 03/04/2016 09:42

Maryzzzz does not get to dictate how her name sounds in my head. If she wants to be Zed she should capitalise. Wink

Are Pag and Hecate still around? I always thought they were joint contenders for Queen of MN.

MardyBra · 03/04/2016 09:44

And I miss them. And Talc.

I bloody loved MN royalty circa 2010.
And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 03/04/2016 09:46

Handwringing about 'Royalty', it's daft.

What does it even mean , are those up there on the pedestal allowed to post what they like?

No, of course not.

HoneyDragon · 03/04/2016 09:46

And Val and her floral cunt bomb

Highsteaks · 03/04/2016 09:49

MN royalty is so 2010. Pretty much all of the 'royalty' has disappeared into the ether, so I don't really get why people refer to it any more anyway.

Highsteaks · 03/04/2016 09:50

Oh x posted with Mardy about 2010 - that was obviously peak royalty year!

BIWI · 03/04/2016 09:52

Because it still pops up on threads, Highsteaks, despite it supposedly having disappeared!

ToastedOrFresh · 03/04/2016 09:52

There's one poster whom I truly believe is MN royalty. This was confirmed to me when I saw MNHQ come riding to their defence. Don't worry, that poster has their minions too.

Apparently, a thread is only considered to be real i.e. 100% troll free if this particular poster has posted on it.
