Yep, talking up my own running. Probably attention seeking. Not that I need attention when I run. My red as a baboons arse face and ginormous constrained bosom in a sports bra usually get me enough attention.

It's just nice to see someone not typically a runner, run. Anyone can run. Even boobed ladies with red faces and men with nice nails.

And on the Jesus thing, as a teacher forced to do the Jesus thing this week, I have found my classes responses to the story mostly relate to "his" weak powers. And comparing him to Thor, or Hulk in a denigrating way. Then again, I suppose it would have been more showy offy to wield a lightning hammer and smite Pilate.

I laughed at your post Muddha and then I felt guilty. But human nature is a strange thing. A few years ago a work colleague killed himself in a very violent way and for the rest of the week we were all in a hightened state of hysteria, ie comic hysteria, not wailing and gnashing hysteria. I think humour is nature's way of self-protection sometimes.
