Dozyoldtwonk · 08/03/2016 21:37

hepzibar Grin I thought I was fully approved as I'm not a 'hun'er. How wrong can one be.

OP, so you just use plain old 'Hi'?

TooOldForGlitter · 08/03/2016 21:38

God I hate ladies or lady. It's vomtastic.

RudeElf · 08/03/2016 21:38

On mumsnet? No. I dont even 'hi' i just bomb into a board and post my problem.

OP posts:
ReluctantCamper · 08/03/2016 21:39

To be fair, I'm a bit of a 'hi ladies' type in real life. But on Mumsnet you don't say hello, you just launch straight in and say your piece. Anyone who doesn't know that hasn't lurked long enough or is a 14 year old boy, or both.

TooOldForGlitter · 08/03/2016 21:40

Hi, Are we supposed to say hi first now? Thank you.

AliceInUnderpants · 08/03/2016 21:41

How you doin'? Wink

RudeElf · 08/03/2016 21:41

No tooold!! no hi necessary.

OP posts:
dancemom · 08/03/2016 21:42

How you doin'? (Joey from Friends style)

Dozyoldtwonk · 08/03/2016 21:43

RudeElf Ah, I may be redeemed. I never 'Hi Ladies' on mumsnet, just bomb straight in too. 'Hi Ladies' on here screams hour I or researcher to me Hmm

I do in RL though.

Allalonenow · 08/03/2016 21:43

Hi doll!

Brian would have said "Hi Yonis".

RudeElf · 08/03/2016 21:44

Joey style. I like it. I will start all my threads like that now. It will catch on. I know it. Wink

BennyTheBall · 08/03/2016 21:44

I loathe ladies. Patronising, as is 'girls'.

I'm the only woman in a team of men and we have 4 female admin staff. My team were genuinely shocked that I picked them up on their use of 'ladies' and 'girls' when talking about the admin team.

Small victory - they never do it now.

Dozyoldtwonk · 08/03/2016 21:44

Hour I = journo

Autocorrect fail again

RudeElf · 08/03/2016 21:45

RL is fine to say hi. I think greetings are expected in RL. Cant say i have ever used ladies. But hi is fine.

Hi ladies, hello ladies whatever always reminds me of some crappy dating type profile or TV programme.

Still clicked on it tho didn't I Blush

TooOldForGlitter · 08/03/2016 21:47

All these years I've just been bursting onto threads and frothing forth my venomous opinions without saying hi first. I'm sorry ladies Wink

expatinscotland · 08/03/2016 21:47

'Hi, fuckers!'
