Yes, Little mix doing 'yee-ha' cowboy singing was 'interesting'.

Couldn't watch the Simon Cowell thing because Mandy Holden.

James Cordon definitely knew it was them on the video link. Their makeovers were rubbish.

It's a feel good programme. Always makes me smile anyway.

Mum Yup highly professional.

Incredibly well rehearsed, you hardly ever see them slip up. Brilliant with members of the public. Able to mix with all walks of society. Have a wide variety of skills, much more talented than other show hosts.

I am ancient and I loved the show. Lighthearted entertainment. No rudeness or swearing. I had a smile on my face from start to end. Great show.

O.K. sorry about the old in "tired, old hacks". I take it back: they're tired hacks.

I didn't think their hosting of the Brits was up to much.

I really like them. The DC and I have just watched the show and all really enjoyed it. Now watching 'Take Me Out' - Love Saturday Nights!

I didn't think they came across very well in the documentary with prince charles a few weeks ago either

they appeal to the generally easily pleased and thick pissed british audience

I don't think people that watch SNT are 'pissed' bit early for that. Confused

DCs love it and I normally enjoy it more or less but tonight's! Aaargh!

Interminable intro with them high-fiving everyone in sight for what felt like ten minutes. I said to the DCs I though this bit was "self-indulgent." The word I would have used, but didn't, was "wanky."

Appalling woman who has told terrible lies. Errr ok but one of them was possibly criminal (claiming 3 months on the sick when she just wanted time off. WTF?) so is she going to face repercussions? She said to ex-boss "haven't seen you for AGES!" (Yeah since I sacked you for gross misconduct)

Surprising tired lady who works in ASDA; poor woman totally scared and bewildered. "Is this the best night of your whole life???!!" they kept demanding, sounded almost threatening: it bloody better be, love, after all the effort we've been to, never mind you're dead on your feet and never watch us anyway you're on TELLY and you better bloody well be GRATEFUL.

Poor chap on the cooking bit "I hated you" etc, how his little face fell and how HILARIOUS they found it.

Little Mix bit - DD had been waiting for this - I thought it was great how they gave their song the Wild West treatment but of course one could not possibly be allowed to enjoy that when there were Ant and Dec in hats and moustaches to be fawned over instead.

The surprising random people bit has got v old. I am a bit sceptical after the actor engagement last week.

How can you like then when they endorse animal cruelty and humiliation in that awful "I'm a celeb' bullshite?

Bit of a sweeping statement. But if that's how you feel....

Oh come on, it's bland tv, they're bland and so are all the shows at that time of night on all major channels.

what is 'clean' entertainment, bearing in mind mary whitehouse though jimmy saville was a wholesome clean entertainer

I think Bill Nighy sums them up perfectly in this clip from "Love Actually"

Sparkling.. that is how I feel. It is not just grubs (though I can't agree with breeding them to be used for vacuous people to eat live). Totally unnecessary. They also used rats, snakes etc in enclosed spaces/a not-nice environment for the sake of a TV show. Leave the animals out it.
