I watch Saturday Night Takeaway with a huge grin plastered to my face.

Love love love it.

Or maybe it's the WineWineWine

Some of those people they pull out of the audience for those skits at the start have done some awful things. I don't find that bit at all funny in all honesty, but still love Ant and Dec.

What's the point in Ashley Roberts though? They aren't even doing Ant vs Dec this series, and even when they did Kirtsy Gallagher was much better doing that bit.

SouthWestmom · 27/02/2016 20:59

No of course no one forced them to. You're missing my point.

Sparklingbrook · 27/02/2016 20:59

Tonight's seemed very 'Noel's House Party'.

Orda1 · 27/02/2016 21:00

Oh yes bacon, their humour is always angled towards children Confused

I agree with Disco, it's the only show I'm not checking my iPad ever 5 mins because I'm bored.

Costacoffeeplease · 27/02/2016 21:00

I'm not really enjoying this series, sadly, I like them in I'm a celebrity but have never watched BGT. To be fair it must be hard to keep coming up with ideas for SNT, but I think it might have run its course now - and yes, why reward such an unpleasant person?

SouthWestmom · 27/02/2016 21:00

And have little ant and Dec been relegated to non speaking parts after their cringey rudeness last series?

Orda1 · 27/02/2016 21:00

Yes they are, Minty. Though she's not doing it so not sure of her purpose.

ILoveACornishPasty · 27/02/2016 21:02

I do like them but agree the woman who took three months off should not be applauded for it. Wtaf?? If she got sick pay, even ssp, that's fraud, surely?! I didn't like that at all. That said, turn over and you get 'Take Me Out' which I-and please believe I am the least feminist female ever and cause the suffragettes to turn in their graves-find deeply offensive. Why is it never a woman picking from a meat market of desperate men??

liletsthepink · 27/02/2016 21:03

I think they are great. The show isn't meant to be taken seriously and they are very entertaining to watch. I'd much rather watch them rather than the rest of the Saturday evening viewing on offer.

Sparklingbrook · 27/02/2016 21:05

Last week's engaged couple were actors. Not saying it was a swizz but that made me Hmm

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 27/02/2016 21:05

Ugh can't stand them either. Glad I'm not alone!

Chippednailvarnish · 27/02/2016 21:06

I like Ant and / or Dec on I'm a celebrity, but I wasn't impressed by the morrisons adverts. After all it's not like they need the money.

Bombaybunty · 27/02/2016 21:07

Puerile crap.

Don't understand their appeal. Sorry.

Arkwright · 27/02/2016 21:08

We all love them. Especially liked the Gino D'campo bit tonight. They are my age so I have loved them since Byker Grove.

Grilledaubergines · 27/02/2016 21:09

I think they're great. Yes chatty man is good, Keith lemon has his fans. Neither of those are appropriAte family viewing though.

kennyp · 27/02/2016 21:10

thought last weeks was great - i cried when them lovebirds got engaged. tongihti thought it was crap. did brian adams just feck off after he'd sung? thought who killed simon cowell was shite. when are little ant and dec going to do some interviewing? i love those two. i watched teh whole thing in 30 minutes - fast forwarding through the rubbish.

i prefer sam and mark on cbbc.

and i'd pay NOT to go on a cruise. which is neither here nor there.

FellOutOfBedTwice · 27/02/2016 21:11

Oh no, you're totally right OP, I love them. I loved them doing Ant and Dec Unzipped on Channel 4 20 odd years ago, and I love them just as much now. I even quite liked their music and I have always been partial to a bit of Dec as well.

For anyone else who loved Ant and Dec Unzipped in 96/97, it's on . Stand the test of time it has not but its funny and quite clever and worth a watch if you're a fan. Plus, Dec is delish and it's nice to remember what Ant looked like with all his hair.

Sparklingbrook · 27/02/2016 21:12

I can't watch the pranks. James Corden last week and the exceedingly annoying Gino D'Campo this. Nearly ate my own arm with all the cringing.

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 27/02/2016 21:12

DS thinks they're amazing. I have to put my earphones in to stop cringing. The thing at the end with little mix tonight was as flat as a pancake.

BlackHillsofDakota · 27/02/2016 21:13

My parents friends were booked to go on that cruise, they got a letter saying there would be changes to the planned route and some disruption. They could either go as planned or get a full refund.

DiscoGlitter · 27/02/2016 21:14

They aren't even doing Ant vs Dec this series,

Ummm.... yes they are. Last week they had the human pac man game in Ant v Dec.

TeenAndTween · 27/02/2016 21:14

I think they are great, and provide good quality, clean, family entertainment. They are highly professional and well rehearsed.

Vintage45 · 27/02/2016 21:14

I don't do bland family viewing.

Once 8.00pm came, it was my turn and I subjected both DS's to many a romcom Grin

dementedma · 27/02/2016 21:14

Oh God, no! Totally cringy crap. If the dcs want to watch it, which they usually don't, they can watch it in their own rooms so I don't have to endure it. Utter shit.

MsJamieFraser · 27/02/2016 21:15

they are FAB entertainers, they are down to earth lads, yes people may dislike them, however that's not to say they are not fantastic at there job.

I like them, because they are the lads next door.
