To really like heather mills

She comes across really well - determined, motivated and friendly.

Think its really unfair that she is getting booed. Has she just been unlucky enough to fall inlove with a national treasure?

I can't stick Paul McCartney. He told my shit list, mainly for inflicting Hey-fecking-Jude on us, but having met them both a few times I'd say they were both pretty awful, her marginally more.

A close relative worked for them (which is how I met them), he says PM is the biggest hypocrite he's ever met and HM just awful

I clearly remember HM giving an interview on This Morning back when Richard and Judy did it and she had just married a director of a film she'd made. She clearly said that she didn't get on with her parents and they kicked her out, she was homeless and had to shelter under a bridge and had water dripping on her. Then when she married PM she did an interview saying she was a veggie because she had a privileged upbringing and lived on a farm and loved animals so much. I was thinking 'you total liar' while watching as I so clearly remembered the previous story she recounted of her hellish upbringing. Absolute nutcase.

She's very deluded. Some of the statements she makes are hilarious. The best one when she said Beatrice is quite talented musically and that she must get it from her. Grin

Part of her annoys/irritates me slightly, part of me feels sorry for her (I think life with PM was no walk in the park). I admire (for want of a better expression) her guts in doing stuff like dancing on ice etc, but there's something about her that I just don't get. I do like the fact she doesn't parade Beatrice around from what I can see.

I don't think she's allowed to parade Beatrice around. Didn't she come out with some old bollocks on the steps of the divorce court that the 25 million settlement was so low that Beatrice would have to fly economy?

Regarding the meanness, I remember a musician, I think it was Denny Laine, complaining that while he was staying with P&L recording a Wings album he was always freezing cold and starving.

Some sort of gagging order is part of the divorce settlement, surely? Before the divorce she was slagging off Macca (there's every chance this was deserved) everywhere but since then she hasn't uttered a peep.

I know we've moved on a bit, but I think there should be hell to pay when an airline loses a disabled customer's prosthetics. I would not judge HM or PM for being irate about that.

cers why on earth would you think there's a good chance she's telling the truth about PM?!? She is a pathological liar. She has been proven to lie lie and lie again. She lied about her childhood best friend's experience of sexual abuse to sell more books. Yet just because now she's saying a man hit her it must be the truth.

She's got a big of a criminal past. She was once found guilty of the theft of a sizeable amount of jewellery. I think it was off a jeweller she worked for.

Macca hit LM allegedly. The abuse HM suffered was psychological ... there are stories of him throwing her prosthetic leg across the room, out of her reach in anger.

It is pointless discussing either of McCartney's marriages. How could we ever know the truth?

All I can say is that McCartney's children (including Beatrice) don't seem to have turned out too badly (and yes, that includes Stella) so he can't be that much of a monster.

Heather Mills is not a reliable witness to anything, including her own life. Which doesn't mean she's a monster either, just that she lacks credibility.

There was a C4 programme about HM iirc. Some years ago now. Was basically all about her 'life story' and firmly painted her as batshit crazy.
PM is not a national treasure and is living on past glories. Him being a deluded older man marrying the awful younger woman was one thing. Playing their lurve out for the meedja was just grim.
