She comes across really well - determined, motivated and friendly.

Think its really unfair that she is getting booed. Has she just been unlucky enough to fall inlove with a national treasure?

Actually I have a friend who used to work for Paul McCartney and she said Mills was obviously batshit crazy but very friendly, very polite and treated everyone who worked for McCartney with respect. His new wife on the other hand is meant to be a total cow!

I actually like her too. I think her interests in veganism/vegetarianism and landmines were never put on and I think she's been dedicated to those things.

I can kind of believe that jean. Nice to have some info from someone that does know her!

Now that Ben he should get booed. But he won't, he's a man so can cheat and gets away with it.

Wasn't there all this stuff about her pretending to be a journalist?

Distant memory ...

The Jump is awful. Davina for a start.

She's full of excuses as to why she can't do it. Not sure why they invited her back, she is just out for publicity.

Can someone tell me how she did such a high jump please? I missed it but all the other celebs are jumping 8-9 metres and she did 14 - did she go from a higher starting point or something?

Am I imagining that she was a Paralympic skier?

Did I dream that?

Liz's - you sound very disableist Biscuit

JeanJeanie that's not true about her treating his staff with total respect. I know someone who she had sacked. A very long serving member of staff.

He has some very interesting stories.

Is the jump on every year or is it just an Olympic year? I have heard of the programme before but not that regularly.

Ubik1 she was thrown out for cheating iirc. I think it was about her prosthetic limb not being legal.

""Am I imagining that she was a Paralympic skier""

No, you didn't, she's won Gold, on occasion.

I'm Vegan, so know of her for that and she does seem committed, whereas Linda M stuff that used to be Vegan (and could be), has over the years drifted to Vegetarian, yet she's accused of just jumping on their bandwagon.

This is why she didint compete in the Olympics.

Very shocking behaviour if true, but it doesn't surprise me one bit.

Well, I wouldn't say I like her but I hate the way the media felt for poor old paul.

he got everything he deserved the old fool. And although I do think she married him for his cash, he married her because she was 25 years younger than him, so I'm not sure why the media were so very much on his side as though he'd been duped. His own family tried to warn him and he wouldn't listen.

Ain't she just a bit bat shit? I mean I don't like McCartney but she has come across as an utterly deluded fantasist at times. Money grabbing as well. Got to mention deluded again.

Someone I know, knew Heather very well through work. She found her fairly unbearable with bouts of awful behaviour.

I think Heather should accept that people like or dislike her on her own merits, not because she was once married to someone who himself can be bit divisive, opinion-wise.

Someone I know used to work for her and she said that she was horrible and rude to everyone. I haven't heard one nice story about her at work...

Bakeoffcake- that's a shame for your friend, at odds with what mine said but there you go, I haven't met or worked for either of them so can only go off what my pal said. Smile

Hi Heather, welcome to MN.

Maybe you'd like to share the story of when you said you had been sexually abused by your swimming coach but the incident had actually happened to your friend, not you.

It wasn't the Para Olympics, but she competed in the US, were she won Gold.

Pissed me off that someone like Mills thought she could cash in on one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time, but pissed me off even more that Mc Cartney allowed it to happen.

I read somewhere Blush that the two women who got the most bad press back in the day, were Heather Mills and Cherie Blair, but that on meeting them, nearly everyone changed their minds about Cherie and found her charming and personable, but continued to hate HM.
