Noobylola, please stop resurrecting zombie threads. Could you tell us what you have to say in a fresh thread of your very own please?

AIBU to ask this?

OP posts:
RudeElf · 17/02/2016 16:05

Yes yabu. Just PM them. No need for this.

Ginslinger · 17/02/2016 16:06

N0 you aren't - I've just lost 20 minutes on a zombie thread.

Cornettoninja · 17/02/2016 16:07

I know its against MN rules but I think we should organise a care package of sweets and full sugar pop for noobyola.

Either for their kids or to distract them from trolling over half term.

TooOldForGlitter · 17/02/2016 16:08

Tell teacher on them, don't bring it out into the playground. Bad form OP.

BankWadger · 17/02/2016 16:09

Hear hear

BankWadger · 17/02/2016 16:10

(That was to OP not the po)

jadorecakesnbiscuits · 17/02/2016 16:11

I don't get what the deal is with zombie threads? What's the problem? Not being goady I don't get it

RudeElf · 17/02/2016 16:11

Ock will you run on with that po shite. What exactly is professionally offended about any of the responses here?

jamhot · 17/02/2016 16:11

I have PMed them. I was hoping to get their attention a bit faster. Let's see if either methods work...

OP posts:
LilacSpunkMonkey · 17/02/2016 16:12

I would rather MN locked threads after a certain amount of time.

That way, people can read them and PM the OP if they want to.

Or start a sodding thread of their own.

Resurrecting threads (unless done by the original OP) is such a waste of time.

MrsTerryPratchett · 17/02/2016 16:12

I agree with Lilac. There are ways to deal.

TotalConfucius · 17/02/2016 16:13

Oh I've just done one too, I mean wasted 15 minutes on a zombie, not resurrected one.
I didn't twig it was zombie till I saw a certain poster referred to and thought 'now hold on here, that name is just NOT around now'.
On that one, the DD whose party it was will be starting secondary soon!

TotalConfucius · 17/02/2016 16:14

I tend to just eye roll though, rather than pm people...

RudeElf · 17/02/2016 16:14

Right so you PMed them and no response. What made you think they would see a thread that doesnt go straight to their inbox any easier? Confused no response means they didnt see it or dont want to respond.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 17/02/2016 16:16

Yanbu. And look at the po-faced replies on here! Grin

LilacSpunkMonkey · 17/02/2016 16:17

Anyone who is prancing round the site resurrecting old threads about a certain topic AND posting on them after reading just the OP without clocking the original date is very unlikely to even notice this thread tbh.

RudeElf · 17/02/2016 16:17

You too bibbity, whats professionally offended about any of the replies here?

bibbitybobbityyhat · 17/02/2016 16:17

"I know its against MN rules but I think we should organise a care package of sweets and full sugar pop for noobyola."

Ha haa!

Because this is obviously one of them there dreaded lighthearted threads, it is perfectly harmless. Go along with the joke or ignore it, why not?

TooOldForGlitter · 17/02/2016 16:20

Am I PO?! Oh my god, that's the first time ever i've been called that. Oh please let that have been aimed at me, pretty please!

RudeElf · 17/02/2016 16:20

Is it an in joke between nobbylola and Op? Otherwise i cant see where the joke is.

Far too much sweet stuff in that package. It needs some turkey twizzlers and wotsits to redress the balance, surely.
