I'm loving the Maybelline Satin touch foundation at the moment. I have other far more expensive ones like Chanel etc but this one shits all over them from a great height. Possibly because of the exact colour match but the consistency is undetectable even with a X10 mirror in strong sunlight yet gives really good coverage so that's a keeper!
There's a peachy coloured Boujois blush (little round pot) that I keep going back to. Makes me look alive and 10 years younger with a pop of that. Perfect colour for my warm light colouring.
Lancome brow gel in Auburn makes a huge difference - gives brown definition without the scary scouse brow look and adds warmth to my very neutral eyebrows and makes my honey blonde hair not seem too light for the brows because it adds warmth which gives context to the hair if that makes sense.
Kevin Acoyne sculpting powder and cadlelight for a bit of contour and highlight
i use a House of Colour Dual Foundation powder for powder, in Light Beige which was chosen for me by my House of Colour consultant, it's perfect. Just a bit of that over the foundation or instead of if I'm not bothered.
I've got a NYC correcting concealer which I use the dark peach one for under my eyes if they are looking blue and shadowy - it does a better job of covering it than just normal concealer for some reason (colour wheel no doubt). Sometimes use the green if my nose is looking red but I actually find the peach good for that too.
I have lash extensions (not scary spidery ones, but light silk ones) so I don't need mascara or eyeliner, but I do sometimes use a brown mascara on the bottom lashes .
My fave eyeshadow palette is one by The Balm called Nude Tude, and I do a bit of shading with that sometimes. Often I don't wear eyeshadow, or I just do a sweep of Becca Rose Gold powder over them, which I bought as a highlighter but doesn't work for me as that, but makes a nice eyelid colour.
I do have a really nice Becca eye palette too in brown neutrals which is great for doing a natural eye, and has a dark brown that I would use for a smokey eye if I were to do one.
There's loads more though. I go through stages of watching makeup videos by Lisa Aldridge and some others that seem to result in me having a buying spree but I know what suits me having had my "colours done" so I know what to avoid.
