To not know what to call my daughter...

It's been 2 days since we have had her and it's so stressful for me! I want her to have a name and feel bad she doesn't. I have a thread going in Baby Names and hoping that will get a name to jump out at me, but feel bad as DS had a name when we found out his gender.

How long until you found a name?

I have a Lucy and she was named when I was a little girl!
I love the name Lola too, go with your gut instinct and try the names out with your surname too.
( know a holly woods ) don't think her parents considered the surname

Claudia is lovely. I had a shortlist of 20 names for my DD. Actually I had a name picked from when we found out she was a girl but it just didn't suit her (possibly a smidgen of baby blues madness there) so I dithered for three days til I had to register her before leaving the hospital (as was the way then) and I eeney meeney miney mo'd my way through the list. I haven't thought much about her name since but oh the pressure of saddling your precious baby with something they'll be stuck with for ever
