This is doing the rounds on fb at the moment.

Seriously Hmm

OP posts:
GruntledOne · 05/02/2016 14:46

Miscarriages happen for different reasons not every 12 week old will have developed at the same rate and not every person is 100% accurate about when they conceived

Nevertheless, it remains the fact that no 12 week foetus looks like the one in the OP. It's biologically and physically impossible. The fact that people who are against abortion feel the need to lie about what a 12 week foetus looks like speaks volumes.

they look nothing like that, the mc foetus you linked to at 12 weeks look nothing like that

Exactly. But she will probably say that those foetuses were late developers, or the women had their dates all wrong.

Or something.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 05/02/2016 14:49

Yes! Let's all post pictures of aborted and miscarried foetuses. That'll while away an otherwise boring afternoon....

EXACTLY!!! this is turning out---exactly as I suspected Grin

over my trauma induced shock

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 05/02/2016 14:51

I don't think the fucking traumatising anti abortion pics are fake though

I don't we should delude ourselves- I mean a foetus aborted post 22 weeks is going to be somewhat brutalising to see no?

Those aren't pictures of a typical late abortion though. They're scare-mongering anti-choice images. I have seen many late termination babies from my experience of tfmr. In the UK you give birth and labour the baby just like a stillborn. Those pictures were definitely not taken in the UK/any civilised country.

Post 24 week abortions are almost always performed for medical reasons on people going through the worst time of their lives.
Images like those are sent out into the world to try and make out that these women that are in a world of hurt, confusion and emotional torment and possibly saying goodbye to their babies to stop them suffering are cold, heartless people. It is bloody awful.

notquitehuman · 05/02/2016 15:02

Some anti abortion groups have been known to use pictures of botched home abortions. They'll use photos from China of very late term abortions that were carried out during the years of one child policy. A lot of photos on banners are very old and grainy and have that film camera look.

UareWhatUeat · 05/02/2016 15:02

I don't think a woman who has been raped should be made to go through pregnancy and give birth. That's just horrific

That's when abortion should be used. And also for medical reasons

UareWhatUeat · 05/02/2016 15:03

Obviously this is an upsetting topic but still no one has posted proof that it's fake

KidLorneRoll · 05/02/2016 15:04

Good for you UareWhatUeat. If you don't like abortion for other reasons, don't have one. Great you get to choose, eh?

KatharinaRosalie · 05/02/2016 15:05

I don't think a woman who has been raped should be made to go through pregnancy and give birth. That's just horrific - but a woman who was not raped, but does not want the baby, should be made to go thought pregnancy and give birth? As a punishment for having sex or something?

sugar21 · 05/02/2016 15:06

Bullshit bullshit and bullshit again.
That is a fake pic. So obvious!
Stop posting it, you'll upset mother's that have had to have abortions for medical reasons or those that have miscarried.
There is no good reason to post this shit pic, if you wanted people to see it you should just say it's on faceballs.

UareWhatUeat · 05/02/2016 15:10

My view is that abortion shouldn't be used as a form of contraception

That's just my view. I'm not religious. I'm human. I could be wrong. I don't know everything

One could also say why not abort babies based on gender?

Crazypetlady · 05/02/2016 15:12

It is upsetting to see pictures of aborted babies. However surely it's worse for a child to be born when they aren't wanted or can't be cared for. I could never have an abortion yet I don't judge others who do.

I hate when people post things like this on facebook.

UAre - this is the website of the artist who made the original doll. It is very much fake.

UareWhatUeat · 05/02/2016 15:14

Since when is a fully decapitated baby a result of a normal birth?

That's clearly an aborted baby and I asked people not to look if affected by abortion

KidLorneRoll · 05/02/2016 15:14

If you don't like abortion, you don't have to have one.

You don't get to make that decision for anyone else though.

And oh, by definition, abortion is not and will never be a form of contraception.

UareWhatUeat · 05/02/2016 15:17

Who actually likes abortion? I wouldn't wish an abortion or miscarriage on anyone

I'm still keen to read some evidence and links if people wish to back up what they are saying

I'm only human I could be wrong. I could learn something new today if anyone would post some actual evidence
