Katie Price has apparently been publicly criticised for getting her toddler daughter Bunny's ears pierced.

To me, it's the criticism, and not the ear piercing, which is ridiculous (and I rather like KP). But I'm surprised by the lack of MN outrage... what's going on?

Reported. Don't start threads about identifiable children. It doesn't matter who her mum is. And everyone knows KP comes on here sometimes. Who wants to see a thread about their child?

I saw it on the 'news' (and i use that term very loosely for this!) earlier. The woman is a [disablist word removed by MNHQ], but that also isn't really news.

See I hate pierced ears on babies/toddlers but I really like KP so I'm shockingly "meh" about this one.

i,m not keen on KP or pierced ears on babies but i do admire her for how she cares for harvey as the mother of a disabled child myself totally missing the point of the thread.

I also think she seems to do a brilliant job with Harvey, who seems like a really great kid.

No, of course I'm not Katie Price! But if I saw a thread naming my child and encouraging people to make derogatory remarks then I'd ask MNHQ to stop the thread. I am acting on KP's behalf here!

I suspect KP would be delighted that a thread has been started about this. She always strikes me as being from the school of any publicity is good publicity

Katie Price was on Loose Women today talking about her daughter Bunny, she's already been identified by her own mother, so can't see a problem with this thread. What's worse, a baby with holes punched in her ears, or an 8yrs old child (her other daughter) done up like an adult.
